Be careful about their sales techniques. I was given a quote in writing then they tried to get me to pay a different amount (more of course). Avoid this dealership.

-5 stars, they literally lost the Magic when new ownership took over. I did an experiment today, had an appointment to get new tires and I knew my front headlight was out. Back in the day if the techs found anything wrong they would come find you and they say this needs done. That doesn't happen anymore, not once did anyone mention that my headlight was out and it needed to be replaced. I was told at check out that I needed new breaks, (why wasn't I told this when you had my car on the lift????) Just checked my receipt and sure enough it states that I declined the service of getting my headlight replaced. Nope definitely did not decline because I was never told about it. Also I took my car in a few months ago because I was having break issues and I was told they were good and nothing was wrong. So now I'm being told they are bad and need replacement! Anyone know where the techs from Magic Toyota went? I really love them

I've been a long-time customer, first when it was Magic Toyota, and now Swickard. I was a little apprehensive when ownership changed; Magic had always been great. I purchased 2 Toyotas and had years of great service. I recently had my RAV4 serviced here, and a small issue came up; the service department handled it like champs. First Khing and then Matt followed through and resolved it; not only was my issue resolved, they handled it professionally and communicated courteously throughout. I've always had great, uneventful interactions with this location; but it was reassuring to be taken care of so well when an issue occurred.

They just don't seem to care. Made a 5K (first) service appt for my new Tacoma. Explained the intermittent wiper switch had been installed backwards (slow was fast). Dropped off the truck for the appt. Apparently you wait by your car (as though returning a rental car) until someone has time to check you in. I was told they couldn't fix the wiper switch as they would need to order a part (10 days after I scheduled the appt and notified of the issue). I added an oil change to the service (Toyota doesn't include until 10K). When they called to let me know the vehicle was ready I was told the wiper switch was fine, possibly operator error (nope, backwards from the manual description and every other Toyota I've owned) and someone would go over it when I picked up. I arrived to pick it up and there is no indication where to go to request your vehicle, and I was mostly ignored while standing at the express service counter by the 2 associates. Nobody knew anything about my wiper switch, and the service dept added a 'next oil change due' sticker with a 5K interval. This truck has a 10K interval, per the service manual. Incompetent, or just sloppy? I won't be going through the frustration of the 'complimentary service' again. I'll visit my fantastic mechanic and happily pay him for his value. Never coming back to a Swickard dealership. Clearly management trains on volume and profits, not customer service.

Before Swirckard took over it was my go to place for servicing all my Toyota cars. Once they took over to call the service department you are routed to some poor guy in a call center that can't even answer the basic question of 1) cost of the service 2) how long the service will take 3) details of service being provided. . Also when you ask the front to actually route you the actual service department no one answers and you can't leave a message. This has become such a joke of a service department in the customer service space.

Long Story short: I went in for a free airbag safety recall, they didn't replace the airbags, and I had to end up spending hundreds of $ due to THEIR mess-ups. Awful, awful experience. Easily the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. Brought my car in for a safety recall on the airbags, decided I might as well get an oil change. A bit pricier than something like Grease Monkey, but it included a "free" tire rotation so I figured it'd be worth it. After their diagnostic, they told me my starter failed (?) and they couldn't get my car running AT ALL. Replacing the starter would be about $800?! No thanks. On top of that, since my car "won't start" they can't complete the work on the airbags (the only reason I even came in in the first place), and that my car is now ready for pick-up. Ok. I understand. It's bad luck. My starter shit the bed then and there despite having 0 issues leading up to this. I get a towing service ready, and they tell me their main shop is closed so I can't even come pick it up that day. I come back in on the day they tell me to, speak to the Assistant Manager Kurt. He assures he will make this right and finds me an affordable towing service. Least they could do is pay for the tow, but whatever. At this point I just want my car back home. Tow truck arrives, I pay the fee, and low and behold they didn't even rotate my tires, and more importantly, my car starts on the first try. Drives just fine. What in the world are the "experts" at this dealership even doing? How in the world did they manage to mess this up so bad? Never going here again and I heavily advise anyone reading this to steer clear.

Bad customer service. Over priced for parts. Never going there again! They also try to scam you with their maintenance services. Do not go there!!

I would have moved to purchase a car today, but this Toyota dealer had terrible customer service. the salesman Tie(probably not spelling this right) knew nothing about the car he was trying to sell, and did not take the time to ask me about my needs. wasted about 3 hours that could have easily been avoided if he had just taken the time to talk to me like a normal human being. Ipointed to the coolant reservoir to ask what it was and tie said he did not know, he never pops the hoods on cars and only takes them in if they make noise. I was hoping to trade in my car and they took my keys to "value the trade in" and then they never gave my keys back. I asked tie multiple times for my keys and eventually had to get the manager to get my keys back. the first offer they gave me was trash, and when I told tie what my needs were he left for 20 minutes, and then returned with the same fucking offer. the hardest part of this was sitting there waiting for so long and seeing other people have normal conversations with their sales reps. this place could be alright if you dealt with someone respectful, just be careful giving them your keys because they might not give them back.

I took my 2023 corolla in for an oil change. I had to park my van there overnight, so I have a car to get back home after dropping of the corolla. I did not want to wait around for a shuttle as that can take up to two or more hours of my time. I got permission from the service advisor Sam to park in the front of the building. The next following morning when I went to get my van the sales manager posted a note my only window "NO OVERNIGHT PARKING VEHICLE WILL BE TOWED." As I was getting into my van a second later, he came out harping on me and lecturing to me about not parking there. I told him I got Sam permission to do so. He did not even listen to what I said to him and he kept babbling on and rising his voice at me. All he had to tell me was please park in the front not by the sales parking lot. I have been a loyal customer to the dealer for a long time. I have bought three new vehicles from them and this is how they treated me. I will no longer buy any cars from again. I will tell all my friends and family to do the same.

Having checked in other dealerships for the desired RAV4 Prime, I thought I would wait until more stock arrived in our area, since I could not even get a test drive in one. However, on returning from a month-long trip, I sought out the Swickard web page and immediately found exactly what I was seeking. A few hours later, the hook was set and we talked purchase with salesman John, who was very competent. Yes, the Monroney sticker was missing from the car (leading me to believe that it had been transferred from another dealer - and I was right!). But the initial details of the sticker were accurate, and I merely questioned the Dealer Installed Option. It was a long list of mostly promised services and protections for just under $6,000. I did negotiate a minor discount, thinking that the scarcity and high demand for RAV4s put me in a more difficult bargaining position. Nevertheless, I expected that these Dealer Options would be noted in the purchase papers. They were not - and several request since have not resulted in anyone at Swickard providing that information. When I picked up the car a week later, the Toyota Vehicle Delivery Checklist was unsigned, the battery was only half charged, we were given only one key fob, and the service contact was never made. Just as well - I will never let Swickard service touch my car. Just look at the reports from unhappy customers on this forum! I downloaded a similar Monroney for another RAV4 on their lot (they sometimes get torn if affixed to a window like mine was, but they always should be in the new car). On the plus side, John the sales rep did offer to help me understand some of the new media features and options during the first week of ownership.

I've been taking my vehicle here for a couple of years, but as of late the service in both the garage and the front end have been progressively declining. After have many issues with my repairs and more recently poor customer service I've decided to start having my work done elsewhere. Every single repair I've brought my truck in for this year has needed to come back 1-2x to fix the issue. I've decided that I can get poor quality/overpriced repairs anywhere. Swickard treats vehicles like crap and the customers who bring them in like crap. Avoid this dealership if you can.

if you like overpaying for genuine parts sure come visit. do yourself a favor a research parts from other dealers nearby. even the Lexus dealer was cheaper on parts. why so high over MSRP?!? i can’t say i won’t ever be in a time crunch and need a part same day. but at all cost if you have time buy elsewhere. forget ever buying a car if you can’t sell parts ethically. Part: 90316A0001 oil seal/ wheel seal. $55 before tax?!? it’s freaking $44 MSRP?!? sad.
