“Let me start by saying that the team at Mukilteo really care. James always is so kind and genuine. He's always helpful and attentive. Today he went above and beyond for me and my poor queen who had a c section and 2 out of 5 survived.... sigh on top of that my card had expired with out my knowledge at the vet earlier today...so I checked my mail and behold it was there....well it said that I could just use it in the paper from becu...well I went to use it and it had to be activated :< and I was at closing time ..left my dumb phone and just having a heart break ..and James, bless this man helped me. I'll never forget that act of kindness because regardless of the company it's still a choise at the end of the day. Your choise was love. I'll be back tomorrow and I will pay for the comp of can food that he comped me to have some wet baby cat good for my recovering himalayan queen. I'll never forget either. ❤️”

“We just adopted our rescue dog Trini and she came with a bag of food. For several days, we tried to sort out why she was having loose stools until we figured out it might be the food she is eating.So we decided to stop by Mud Bay and ask for alternative food recommendations. Mud Bay's crew were patient, friendly and helpful with our kibble inquiries. They gave us samples to try which seemed to work so we bought a small bag and have now graduated to a big bag of the right dog food for Trina.And also a bonus, the products they carry are priced fairly. “I cannot say enough about how much I love shopping here! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they obviously really care about their customers and their pets! I have two cats and went through a period of time where they were being really picky about food and one was having digestive issues. At All the Best they were so understanding of what I was going through trying to find food that works for my cats! They have a color coding system which lets you know the textures of different food etc… but the game changer for me was one of the employees recommendation of an enzyme supplement that I mix into their food (the wisely one)! Once I started mixing the enzyme into their food the little one stopped having digestive problems and they both decided they agreed on a food they liked. I think maybe it wasn’t so much the food but how they felt after eating it that made the difference. I haven’t had them snub anything since they started the enzyme.In addition to providing great guidance on food etc… the staff is just really friendly and seem to genuinely like talking to their customers and hearing about their pets and lives. When I’m feeling depressed or yucky I usually avoid errands because I get anxious and I never feel the need to avoid coming here. I know if I come in feeling less than 100% that I’ll leave in better condition than when I came in. I don’t buy cat food anywhere else anymore! This shop is my #1”

“I take my fluffy medium sized dog to get groomed here. He always looks great and they are able to bath him, do a bit of a sanitary shave, and get all his shedding fur out - all in about an hour or so. I’ve taken him to other groomers in the past but they are more expensive for worse results compared to Health Mutt. Highly recommend Health Mutt for their grooming services!”
“You really can't find a better place to treat your cats. The entire staff is warm and kind and loves cats. Through their care our cats have lead long healthy lives from 14 to 20 years. They aren't cheap but they are worth every penny.”
“I brought my elderly cat here after trying multiple vets in the area. He had a tumor on his paw and for years every vet told me he was too old to operate on or that it wasn't worth the money for surgery. I noticed on the first visit that the folks at Hawthorn Hills were extremely thorough. They engaged with me and my kitty, listened to all my concerns, and said right away that they could help him. They were super confident my kitty could handle surgery and made me feel reassured. The surgery went super well and my cat's quality of life is better than ever! They really took their time with me and my cat, and I am so glad I found them and had his tumor removed. Highly recommend!”

“So happy with our experience in the grooming department. We have a floofy Bernese Mountain dog and the groomer Alyssa, did an amazing job with him. She was very thorough in explaining what she may need to do ( he had some matting) and how much any extra time would cost. “We came here for puppy supplies 7 years ago and come by all the time. The discount book for puppies is worth the first visit. We took all of the training classes and if you make it to all of them it's likely that you'll get lots of one on one trainer time. Most people drop out before the end. This is my dog's third place. She comes for the free treats and looks for the people she knows. I groom her myself and get my gear here. I can't do her toes though and like the easy drop in nail grinding at the dreaded doggy spa.”
“Way cheaper than going to a normal vet for vaccinations. The downside is there's not always a well defined line and it can weave through the store so if you have reactive pets it can be stressful.”
