I don’t take leaving negative reviews lightly, but I believe the management at this Goodwill location could benefit from some honest feedback.
As someone who regularly shops at Goodwill stores throughout Snohomish and King County, I was shocked by how inflated the prices are here—often double or even triple what nearby locations charge for similar items. It’s disappointing to see such a stark difference, especially from a nonprofit organization that claims to serve the community.
Beyond pricing, the lack organization of the store make browsing difficult. Overpriced items are overcrowded on shelves, making it hard to access anything without having to remove items first. This is especially concerning given that many of this location’s regular shoppers are seniors. The combination of high prices and poor accessibility suggests a lack of consideration for their customer base.
I plan to revisit this location in two weeks and will update my review if I see improvements. For now, I can’t recommend shopping here—it simply isn’t worth your time or money.

I quess we all know when we have been bamboozled. The response from Goodwill regarding books that are donated to the Edmonds store doesn't seem to be based on fact. You are telling us that people in Edmonds don't donate art books. REALLY NOT TRUE. Has anyone else seen the Goodwill semi truck pull up, fill up and ship out donations. Once upon a time I was in a long donation line and saw them maneuver that semi for pick up.

Shame on Goodwill for making donations such a hassle! They have a long list of homegoods they won’t take now, of course, you don’t know this until you show up. The final straw for me was when the store employee yelled at me for showing up at 9am to do a clothing drop off, he claims they don’t start until 10am but the sign outside and their website say 9am! This isn’t a bank, get with the times and update your times to be more convenient!
I recommend donating somewhere else! No more of their for-profit nonsense!

Yikes. Used to be a good place to shop but now- Prices through the roof. 50 bucks for a trinket. What Goodwill? Tariffs don’t apply to you. Plus you get your stuff for free. So why the beyond inflation escalated prices?

I had a bad experience visiting the Goodwill in Edmonds.
I stopped to look at a frying pan and then waited in line to pay at the register. However, the cashiers allowed two people to skip ahead of me, and no one told me where the waiting line started.
When I asked where the line for the register was, an Asian woman responded, “Looks like it’s your first time visiting. The line starts here.” I asked where exactly the line started and where the sign was, but she ignored me. On top of that, she accidentally charged me twice for the frying pan, which I only noticed after getting to my car.
I went back to get a refund and asked the shift manager where the line started and where the sign was. He simply said, “It depends.” He was also very rude and unprofessional.

The stuff I find here is generally in better condition than most other Goodwill locations. Being in close proximity to Woodway, an affluent area, the quality of donations is significantly higher. The upscale neighborhood means that the items donated are often gently used or even brand new, making this Goodwill a treasure trove compared to those in less affluent areas.

Decent place to stop by before you head for the ferry. Has a decent selection of items, definitely found some good stuff thrifting here, just be mindful that the layout changes every once in a long while.
