The Vet I saw looked like she had just graduated. She was about as compassionate as a rock, and didn't have the ability to listen. This was my first and last time at this Vet.
Update: I have since responded as requested by the merchants response. I have yet to hear back.

Staff was very friendly! Dr. Wilson was excellent with my rambunctious new puppy, and they were very well priced. They were very busy at the time of my appointment and running behind, however the communication and accommodation of all the patients/owners was superb!

We’ve been going here as a family since I was a child! They are worth the hype :) Always so sweet, accommodating and I love that they explain everything to me. Kitty is always so well taken care of, I never have any concerns!

Today I got to meet Franklin our new puppies doctor. She was great right from the start. Franklin was loved by all the staff. He’s such a cute new little lab puppy. I also took Jasper our six-year-old cat the next day and he literally laid down on the table and allowed her to examine him. She really does have a way with her patience’s . I really enjoyed these two visits and I know That they will be well cared for by the whole staff thanks again

Do you want your aging best friend to suffer? Then the Edmonds Westgate Veterinary Clinic is for you!
Edmonds Westgate Veterinary Clinic has provided care for several generation of our pets for 30+ years and we have been impressed and satisfied with the treatment for our pets and customer service for most of this time. Dr. Zacharia and Dr. Wilson have provided exceptional care for our pets, and I have always been impressed with the customer service and knowledge of front desk staff.
However, during the past year, the knowledge and inexperience of new ‘intern’ veterinarians has had a negative impact on my 12-year-old lab and has resulted in many days, weeks, and months of misery and pain. These ‘intern’ veterinarians have denied my old best friend the medications that he needs for comfort and refused to rely on the years of diagnosis/treatment of Dr. Zacharia and my knowledge of my best friend.
In 2023, Dr. Zacharia reduced his available hours prior to his retirement in July 2024 and it became difficult to schedule appointment with him and only ‘intern’ veterinarians were available for appointments.
The first time I was unable to find adequate care for my best friend at Edmonds Veterinary Clinic was in December 2023 when Dr. Zacharia was not available for appointments. My best friend was suffering from an extreme skin infection that we had worked with Dr. Zacharia with for 10+ years. From many years of experience, once the infection reached a certain level, the only way to get the infection under control was Simplifef. I notified the ‘intern’ veterinarian of this fact, but he refused to prescribe my best friend the medication that he needed. I was able to get my best friend’s prescription filled when Dr. Zacharia returned and by that time it was too late. It resulted in months of misery for my best friend to finally beat the infection once we fell so far behind and we were not able to eliminate the infection until June 2024….six month of misery caused by Dr. Johnston.
Due to arthritis, my best friend is now barely able to walk but I try to take him swimming 3-4 times of week for exercise/fun and Dr. Zacharia had him on Caprovet to help with his arthritis pain. Dr. Zacharia had prescribed the medication for twice a day but I only gave him the medication once a day until it was not enough. The past two months, I have given the amount prescribed by Dr. Zacharia and he has been feeling better. I ran out of medication over the weekend and we are leaving out of town where Rocket will be active….and he seems to be getting more sore and having more difficulty standing up. After speaking with the intern veterinarian on the phone, they have refused to give my best friend the medication he needs for relief.
This is why I am done with the Edmonds Westgate Veterinary Clinic and will seek another provider for my best friend. I DO NOT recommend the Edmonds Westgate Veterinary Clinic; however, if you are forced to find care for your pet with this clinic, be sure to insist on Dr. Wilson. That being said, according to front desk staff, ‘Dr. Willson is overwhelmed’…probably because she is the only competent veterinarian in the building.
The veterinarians at the Edmonds Veterinary Clinic other than Dr. Wilson lack experience and the willingness to listen to pet owners. The front desk staff seems more combative than helpful like in the past…probably because of all the complaints.

Take caution: the staff has changed around and feel no remorse tacking on extra expensive tests and things to diagnose your pet even when they are not necessary for treatment. They don't even think to offer an estimate when their services shoot to over $300.
If you have a friend that works as a vet or at a veterinary office, talk to them about predatory practices before going here so you can make informed decisions rather than being swayed by "just in case" from Edmonds Westgate. I'm done taking my pets here.

As a client of Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary for many years, I have recently noticed a significant improvement in the ability to get an appointment on short notice. This has been an issue in the past, even for long-standing clients, but my recent visits have been scheduled quickly, even the same day. Although Dr. Zacharia has retired, Dr, Wilson is still with the practice, and I have also had the pleasure of working with one of the rotating veterinarians, Dr. Myers. This has been a great experience, as Dr. Myers is incredibly skilled and professional, with good bedside manor. He spends as much time as is needed to address my concerns, and I have total trust in the care he has given my dog.

I take both my dogs to this vet at least annually for their check ups and any vaccines they may need. One of my dogs has color alopecia and he’s prone to fungal type infections to his skin so I have to take them in every once in a while. The staff there is always very nice and take very good care of him, do thorough exams, and prescribe the right medication’s. Great people!
6/26/24 - Wonderful experience! Staff is always friendly. Dr. Wilson headed the teeth cleaning / teeth extraction for Parker and Bella. They did a thorough examination/X-rays to allow me to make an informed decision for teeth extraction on both dogs and when I picked them up, she spent the time to detail to me how it went and why the recommendations were made, going over the X-rays and using a canine mouth model, answering all my questions. Aftercare was thoroughly explained and both pups are doing great. Their care of my babies is always done wonderfully.
