I have tried emailing this review via the contact form on Doug's Hyundai website, but ever time I do it says I'm blocked so I guess this is the only way to communicate. I am currently leasing my 3rd car from you guys (2 Mazda's, 1 Hyundai). Two days ago, while driving to the hospital for night shift the weather strip on the driver side that extends from the side view mirror to the top corner of the door started peeling off and whipping against the car, scratching it badly. I was eventually able to get a hold of it and bring it in the car. Setting aside how weird it was that my car was literally falling apart as I drove it, the more important issue was the terrible 'service' by the service department. I called the service center at 0800 on Friday morning and spoke to a robot that said text message was a good way to communicate. I texted a description of what happened with pictures and asked if this was a really big deal that needs to be fixed right away. I know nothing about cars and was concerned rain/snow would start coming in car or running down the inside of the door and create significant damage. By 3:15 p.m. I had no response, so I sent a follow up message saying I also need to schedule a regular maintenance service which I was having trouble booking online since it seemed to be full no matter how far I booked out. At this point Milo Alexander said he's booking out until March 27th. That's pretty shockingly long time to wait to have one's car serviced but I said ok. I then asked about my original question about the weather stripping and was told "we would have to take a look at it and even that we are out to March". That is again wild, but I asked ok can you please just tell me how urgent this is to address and was told "We can but we'd need to schedule and appointment." I said that was frustrating and that I still wanted to book the service in March but could I please get advice from someone. Milo confirmed by March booking but refused to respond further to my question or direct me to someone who can help. Sorry for the lengthy story but as you can see I know absolutely nothing about cars and have no idea if this will cause who knows how much money in damage. I was really disappointed by my communication and the complete lack of effort to address the problem before March. My lease is up this year, and I previously thought I would get another Hyundai because I've really enjoyed this car as until it started literally unraveling it has been very reliable. However, I can't see how I could return to a dealership that apparently doesn't have the capacity to deliver basic service or answer what I must imagine is a very simple question for anyone who knows anything about cars. I'm going to have to look for somewhere that can offer actual customer service and support. So that's really disappointing. Perhaps Milo is over extended but he seemed to be very resolute in his unhelpfulness.

Recently bought a car from this family-owned dealership. Our salesperson Yohan was knowledgeable, friendly and no-pressure. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was down-to-earth, and chill. We got the car for a competitive price and I don't hesitate to recommend this dealership and salesperson.

The last couple times that I've had my oil changed I've had issues. My car has not been vacuumed or gotten wash vouchers. The last time, which was a couple of weeks ago, they said my brakes were ok, but a few days ago they started squealing when I drove my car. I called them day to try to get in and they say d that they couldn't get me in until March 27th, which , by then it would have cost me a lot more. I didn't not think they even bothered checking the brakes when they changed the oil. The time before that when I got my oil changed, I asked to have one of my tires checked because I was having to air it up every couple of days. They said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Within a couple of days I was having to air up my tire twice a day. I went back in and told them and, lo and behold , they found the problem, which was there the whole time, but I don't think the checked it they day I had my oil changed and I asked them to check it. I was able to get into Lee Johnson Hyundai in Everett today and they squeezed me in and were able to fix the brakes. I would not recommend taking your Hyundai to Doug's for service as their service department has gone downhill in the last few months

This is the place where you want buy a vehicle from, look for Yohan if you really need cars! Just bought a 2024 Hyundai Elantra SEL Convenience package, and Yohan offered me good deal of vehicle. Didn't have to wait long time to proceed on getting the vehicle and satisfied so much till the end. If I get another chance on buying Hyundai cars, I would definitely come back here again.

Make sure you check with BECU before getting a loan through Hyundai from becu . You ll save a lot of fees if you went directly through which ever finance institution except their own (Hyundai USA) . Such a scam !

They seem to care more about profits than the people they sell to. Took advantage of my 72 year old father who does not speak very good English and is hard of hearing. He bought a 2021 Hyundai Palisade from Jihoon today at about 1pm. They added a service contract and gap insurance to the total. Not sure if my father understood what they were adding those to the sales contract. I found that he can basically get a new 2024 Palisade for the same price. Went back to the dealer about 5 hours after he bought the car to hopefully try to exchange it for the a new model. Unfortunately the Sales Manager on duty was Zach who did not want to help us in exchanging the cars. In his words "why would i want to make a worse deal than I did". I was told by Zach that the Hyundai financing specials have a loan to value ratio and that the new car would not qualify for the special rate because of the trade in. When asked to show me where is says that, he could not, or did not want to show me. This tells me that they or maybe hopefully just Zach does care about the customers that come in the door to buy cars from Doug's. Bottom line beware. I was hoping that this would not be your typical used car sale experience, but sadly it was. Note. Not from San Francisco. Not sure why Yelp! posted the wrong location. From Lynnwood, WA

What a wonderful car buying experience! We talked to multiple dealerships, but no one had the service and attention to detail that we found with Michael at Doug's. He spent time learning what was and wasn't important to us in a car, asking and answering a ton of questions. He then made sure to keep us in our budget. I never felt rushed or that someone was trying to upsell me. We left with a deal that we feel good about. Go see Michael of you want great service.

I would 100% recommend Doug's Hyundai! It was the best car buying experience I've had! My sales person, Yohan Bong, was wonderful!! He was so nice, very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and made me feel very comfortable with my purchase. I've been a Hyundai owner for the past 18+ years, and will continue to be a loyal customer, not only because they're great vehicles, but because I've always been treated with kindness, respect, and fairness.

I was searching for a vehicle and after few weeks of this process, I was able to find the right one that met my needs with Doug Hyundai. The support of Michael Wilson was critical to my decision to purchase the vehicle.

we are ridiculous about buying new cars. just got a new one last year & another new one about two years before that. we average one about every two years. multiply that by YEARS (we're "old"). but our experience this week with doug's makes all other experience PALE by comparison. woke up dreading the "dealership dance" that i "knew" from past experiences that we'd have to endure to finalize the transaction. nope. it was THE BEST car buying experience EVER. eric jeong was fabulous. we started the process online with texts & emails. he was very responsive - lightning quick in his replies to my questions. starting the process i had no idea that less than a week later i'd be driving such a wonderful car home. without eric, it simply wouldn't have happened. when we met him in person, i was even more impressed. he even came in on his day off to finalize the purchase as i wasn't available when he was back. we left with smiles, a great feeling for the procedure & we're still telling people where we live what a great experience we had. trust eric at doug's for an experience like ours. still smiling...
