This is a well-documented review, I have the emails, texts and voicemails. I highly advise against using this company. Do your research and read the reviews, this is not a company to do business with. There are better, more trustworthy real estate companies in the area.I met with an agent and explained my personal circumstances and significant life changes. I expressed that I needed to work with someone that I felt was on my team and would look out for me. The initial agreement we verbally came to was to pay 2.5% commission to my agent and no concessions, this was specific. I did not want to pay buyers closing costs, buyer’s agent’s fees or entertain any concessions. The original sales agreement signed on July 27th indicating the 2.5% commission. Under the pretense of our agent “forgetting their commission” we were asked to re-sign the agreement on August 3rd. The new agreement added an additional 2.5% commission instead of removing it from buyer’s agent’s fees and keeping to the original verbal agreement of 2.5% commission to our agent only. The total number requests to sign for corrections or addendums was at least 10, based on the email requests I pulled. Some examples were forgetting to include disclosures in the agreement, adding a middle initial, removing a name from the contract, relisting, etc…There were issues with obtaining an estimate of net proceeds for the home sale and closing costs numerous times by email and text over a significant period of time. Example answers received were, “no I haven’t checked on your net proceeds. I’ll ask Rainier if they provide estimates”, not getting a response, and “Not sure how to answer that” and that Rainier was preparing my estimate still. After continuing to communicate, sharing the facts (actual emails, texts, voicemails, previous versions the agreement) the final message I received from Coldwell on September 16th was borderline threatening stating, “If you decide to not close, we highly recommend that you contact a lawyer as you will be in breach of contract.” and did not answer the question if they would make any concessions for the mistake per their voicemail indicating they were “seeing what they could do.”I have not been aggressive, rude or angry in any way. I have provided the emails and facts of the deal and kept Rainier informed of why I was waiting to sign. This has been deeply insulting, confusing, and hurtful. Especially after confiding in them my personal situation and the financial harm they have caused me.The neglect, poor customer service and ghosting by Coldwell is horrifying as they are one of the more prominent businesses in the region. I would highly caution others from choosing this company. Similar experiences with Coldwell can be found on other review sites. Do your research and work with another company that you can trust and stands by their work and company ethics.UPDATE: I'm not able to reply to the canned response. It is confusing the response is to reach out to them when Coldwell has ghosted me for several weeks and the manager, John Deely, was included in the emails and conversations and did not participate or respond at any time. Very highly suggest working with a different company.

UPDATE: This is the same blanket, canned response used on all reviews (even on other review sites). It is confusing and suggests lack of customer service that the response is to reach out to them when Coldwell has ghosted me for several weeks and the manager, John Deely, was included in the emails and conversations and did not participate or respond at any time. I stand strongly by my recommendation and suggest working with a different company.

Tyler is just great. He's in-tune with what we're looking for and very easy to communicate with. He also is willing to answer our millions of questions and provides excellent advice. I'm so happy we were connected with him.

Andrea Fjortoft is one of the best agents we have ever worked with. When we moved back to Seattle she helped us find our home. It was just before Christmas but she still made time for all our needs. More recently she listed and helped us sell a townhouse. Due to her understanding of the market and beautiful staging we sold it well above list price

If you're reading this review, you are in GREAT hands!!! Jarl and Andrea Fjortoft and Wendy Wester, of Coldwell Banker Bain, are three of the finest people you will ever meet. Buying my first home was so scary as I didn't know what to expect or even how the process worked. I was truly fortunate enough to get the opportunity to meet this group and have them ease my nerves every step along the way. I feel they should receive a medal and also a year paid gas card for all the trips they did with me to check out potential homes. So patient and so amazingly down to earth. You'll want to hangout with them every day and be best friends because they make you feel so welcomed and cared for.Years later, I wouldn't trust anyone else to help me with the selling process. As usual, this group is so professional and on top of every detail. They want the best for their clients and will go to great lengths to make each client feel special. Every step was so planned and professional. The pictures and staging of the home were taken care of and were so beautiful. Thankful to have these beautiful souls with me for buying and selling my home. They are literally THE BEST!!! Thank you Coldwell Banker Bain and a HUGE thank you to Jarl, Andrea, and Wendy.
