“Absolutely gorgeous works. We stopped in and made several trips back to narrow down exactly what we wanted. Sean and Valeri have beautiful art here and the layering techniques are really something unique. We always collect ceramics on our travels and these are our new favorites. We ended up buying 6 pieces total and they were expertly packaged and shipped back to us in TX. We cannot wait to return for more!”
“George Merrill is the rare meld of artist and craftsman. As an artist myself, the way my work is framed is essential to the completion of my vision and its success in catching the eye of a viewer.
From the beginning of working with Waterfront, I was met with warmth, enthusiasm and vision. George, owner of Waterfront, uses vast materials and skills from gold leaf, rare and exotic woods, bole, to simple/more common materials . Waterfront carries on the tradition of expert construction and craftsmanship while also playing with creative forms and modern advances in technology. I will never use another framing company.”

I purchased a beautiful ceramic bowl and two watercolor prints from the gallery and was having such an engaging conversation about the history of Orcas Island with Sonia that I forgot to put the prints in my bag. I realized when I got back to Seattle, so I called and Sonia was wonderful and got them to me! I am so thankful and will be back!”

We stopped in this shop while walking around originally looking for a hat, but found so much more. I treated myself to a couple of the necklaces the owner made (they are stunning and I still wear them a ton and always get compliments when I do). We got to talking and she gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and activities on the island, which we followed and I'm so happy we did! Everything was perfect – overall, I have nothing but great things to say about this shop and the owner! 10/10 would recommend :)”
“You don't need to care about pottery at all, to have a positive experience here. There is a rocking tree house and swings for the kids. The adults get to appreciate those too, plus waterfront views and lovely gardens. But it's all about 3rd generation pottery displayed and merchandised beautifully, inside several structures, and most effectively, outdoors. This place is on the list for all of our island visitors, and they always buy things! Worth the effort, for sure!”
