Gave them my information to file my last three years of taxes. I was in no hurry, but they continued to hold them after corresponding over email for 6 to 8 months and proceeded to ignore me and had no idea what I was talking about, lost my W-2s for last three years. Prior to that I had gone to them for a number years prior. With no issue. Because of this I will not go back.

I kind of feel like I was swindled by H&R. After I spent 3 hours going through turbo tax and collecting all the info I needed I tried to switch to H&R's online filing process but it so confusing compared to TurboTax. However, TurboTax was trying to say I owed 300 dollars more than H&R was saying. I called asking to get help with their online stuff because I had already gone through the process of getting all my information (expenses, care mileage, etc.) I expected to pay about 100 dollars for this service like it had said online through their website. I went in and handed Tiffany all my info and she very quickly entered it with little to no questions. Then looked at me and said her fee was 272. I ended up saving only 11 dollars by going into H&R when all I needed was a little bit of direction with their online program. Now me being the person I am, I wasn't going to say no that's too much. I paid it and left but immediately felt a deep regret. If I had just gone online one more time and tried again I would have saved myself 300 dollars. I feel like the profesionalism and customer service was also lacking. As a first time costumer, I do not feel safe or in good hands with H&R Block.Edit* after trying to help my coworker go through H&R's online filing process I am now convinced that they make it so difficult so you can head on in to their store and be unexpectedly hit with a 272 dollar fee.

So I'll have paid $344 for them to incorrectly do my taxes. Which I caught the mistake, I could've gone through TurboTax and done it correctly for no cost. I still have to fix things on the IRS page as well so yay for that.
