**Update** 09/19/2024 - Dr Gengler still rocks! I’ve been in this business for 30 years and I’m telling you, if you want knowledge, compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail when it comes to your pet, she is the one!**
I’m a professional dog trainer and have been handling and training working dogs my whole career. I’ve also known Dr Gengler since we were kids. She knows what she is doing and is very passionate about the health of your pets.

At first entering you are meet with colorful pictures, large windows, and a sense of comfort. I have been all over and the country and this by far the first vet I have walked into feeling perfectly at ease bringing my four legged forever friend. Highly recommend for all your animal needs!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The staff went above and beyond ensuring Summer felt loved and cared for. They were helpful in getting Summer treated and scheduled for her procedure quickly.

We have been coming here for a few years… had the same tests done on our dog every year. Now this year they’re saying she has to have a yearly test done again (6 months later). It’s not required by the state to have it done again and I called another vet service and they wouldn’t be requiring it again either. Be careful that this office is not having you do test on your animals just so they can make money. Make sure the tests are actually needed and get a second opinion. Our test was a simple one… one for heartworm… and the vet lied when she called me. She told me she callled and left 6 messages. We only have 2. And not to mention… our dog came in to get her toes clipped… we had asked to get more heartworm preventative and when we were there NO mentioned they wanted to retest her. They let us leave without the preventative and then called later. We live 35 minutes away… just be careful with your animals here and be skeptical of how often they want to test your animals for things.
I have to add to this review. We let them know we’d be changing vets… they refused to to fill prescription dog food for our dog… they would rather let a dog starve or go off their prescription dog food to prove a point. They are not in this for the pets. They are fine with hurting and starving them. I would recommend going anywhere but here. I can’t express how horrible they are.

The grand reopening of Duvall Veterinary Hospital was phenomenal. Dr. G and her team have poured their heart and soul into this remarkable remodel. Any pet would be fortunate to receive care from their amazing staff.

Our newest family member, Max, has not been feeling ? the past few weeks. I spoke with Michelle on what had been recommended to us and told her that it hasn’t worked. I truly appreciate Michelle providing recommendations for food and tests that need to be done to help get him on the path to feeling better. She really cares about animals and will go out of her way to make sure your fur baby gets the absolute best care. ??

10 week old Larkin had very bad diarrhea due to a change in food. Dr Gengler was so great talking her worried mom though a diet to help settle her system. Above and beyond. Hopefully Larkin and I will both be sleeping better soon. Thanks DVM.

Why would a " Veterinary Hospital " not be able to schedule an appointment when you tell them your cat has a possible UTI and they say you have to wait 2 weeks to have it checked out or go to urgent care in Kirkland? You are a current patient of theirs and that's the protocol?

Dr G and staff are absolutely wonderful! They have guided our family through the care and goodbye of a sick elderly cat, welcoming a puppy, and adopting an adolescent cat. Care is always kind and compassionate with a dash of humor! I really appreciate the time taken to throughly answer my questions and discuss treatment options for our furry family members. I highly recommend Duvall Veterinary Hospital!

We take our Huskie Stella here and have nothing but a great experience. Working through their construction overhaul of the building is a challenging situation but I think they have handled it flawlessly keeping the customers and pets safe. Stella can be a handful at times and they seem to take care of her no problem with whatever mood she may be in! Pricing is fair and the knowledge from Michelle is hands down impressive. I recommend Duvall Veterinary Hospital to anyone who wants to be treated fairly and feel confident your pet is getting the best treatment around.??

We have had reasonable care from them for years, however more recently they overprescribe and try to upsell various supplements and medications. And if you ask for written prescription, prepare to be hassled about it. Of course they want you to buy from them or their little online service that is way more expensive than most pharmacies. I’m not here to give money to a local business, I’m here to get the best care I can for my pet at a reasonable price, andI won’t purchase overpriced medication. We switched to Cottage Lake and have had much better service and no issue with using online pharmacies, and were told that a couple of prescriptions and supplements they recommended were not necessary.
It seems like most of the negative reviews they cut and paste the same response, saying they cannot find them in the system. I assure you we have been there multiple times.

I will never go here again. The vet is condescending, and the front office staff are really rude. I know several other people who have had the same experience. Nothing about this place is friendly. My pets needed FLEA medication, and they wouldn't give it to me without an appointment-which I tried to make but one wasn't available for a month. When I was concerned about the length of time, the receptionist said in a snarky voice, "that's how schedules work."

I've been bringing my Belgium Malinois to these folks for a couple of years. She's definitely not an easy dog for just anyone to handle . I have to be with her for safety sake . They have always been really accommodating and very slow and methodical with her and gone out of their way to make going to the vet a really good experience. They're very thorough in everything that they do and spend the time to answer any questions that might co.e up . They are definitely the only vets that I will use .

Take your pets here! I have never felt more comfortable with a vet and my fur babies! Michelle and her team take every step to take care of Oakley! I could not appreciate her flexibility enough, especially through the remodel! Thanks Michelle and team for all that you do!
