“Robbie is great. He's super knowledgeable and will offer you a great training plan in a no frills, welcoming environment. My kids also love his youth program!”

“Fantastic training! After 2+ years at Orange Theory Fitness I decided to try personal training 3 times a week and it’s the best decision I could’ve made for myself! After 3 months I’ve gained muscle and shed fat and continue getting stronger. It’s slightly more expensive than OTF, but for good reason - it’s worth it! I appreciate the individual programming tailored to meet my goals, I appreciate that Shon lets me work out with a friend who also has a membership and allows one of us to sign for both of us (so great for couples!) and that we do the same workout but scaled weights for each of us. I appreciate that’s he’s tracking progress/increases and keeps the workouts fresh and challenging! This training is an investment in myself; my results physically and mentally continue to make it a hundred percent worth it!”

“I should have written this years ago but now that I've moved, I'd be remiss if I did not write how this gym is the absolute best gym in the Pierce County area. It has everything you'd want. CrossFit? check. Weightlifting? check. Open gym? check. Yoga? check. BJJ space? check. 24/7 access? check. In addition to the expectations from a gym, the athlete community alone is worth the membership. Everyone is aware we're all on our own fitness journey, and they cheer you on to succeed in it. No stress, no intimidation just pure motivation to achieve your goal. The staff are also low key cool and knowledgeable wanting you to do your best but also willing to listen to suggestions or concerns you may have about your workout. Go check it out for a day and I'll guarantee you'll love it. I'll give you your money back on that first visit if you don't (Its free.)”

“Good gym overall with a large functional fitness area. Wall space is a little challenging to find with all of the cardio equipment, but there are plenty of options. New-ish locker room, sauna, and shower facilities with stall showers, as compared to the bays of other gyms on post. Downside is that the hot water is VERY slow to warm up.”

“You have done an exceptional job "upleveling" the caliber of coaches at the UP studio. The new crew is more mature, personable, have clear coaching skills AND connect with the clients on a human level. The front desk staff has ALWAYS been top notch, so kudos to them as well.”

“I had my first cycle class experience this week at Handlebar. The vibes are immaculate. Fun music, engaging and challenging workout, and Steve is super friendly. A someone who never does any form of cardio and definitely isn’t the definition of “highly fit,” its challenging for me to enjoy a workout class, but I was hooked after the first class!”

“Lot of guys in here. Some of them wear pants and jump into what appear to be nets. Other times there are a bunch of frogmen yelling about something and pretending to be Navy Seals. Not a Good pool for tag or chicken fights. Would not recommend for bbqs, date nights, squirt gun fights, or watching fireworks because it's indoors.”

“Great gym, they had 24-hour access while I was there, which is very convenient. Place was generally clean but definitely could use an upgrade in space. This place gets PACKED during peak hours.”

“The lovely ladies at the front desk are always nice and kind hearted. The gym equipment is taken care of and there’s rarely a time I have to wait to use a piece of equipment.”

“I've been going to Crunch for the last couple of years and absolutely love the environment! The staff is always friendly, helpful and outgoing. The gym is always cleaned and maintained. The best part, there's no judgement! I've been doing the Tread N Shred, Tread Bootcamp and Kickboxing classes with Heidi and have a blast! I would love to see more evening or weekend classes so more people can join in on the fun. Maybe a weightlifting class or more HIIT classes could help with the variety of group classes. Overall, by far the best gym I've been to! ?”

“I haven't been to other gyms but this one is awesome. My 8 year old even started an "America Ninja Warrior" type class at the same time his 6 year old sister does gymnastics.”

“The manager, Corey, is a disciplined family man and very friendly and takes excellent care of this facility. I have never had a problem that he was unwilling to fix or help me through. He even takes the time to give me fitness and diet advise. He's seriously one of the nicest guys I've ever met. (Keeping in mind that he is still responsible for the wellbeing of the club and it's members, maybe some people have to see his stern side when they don't follow rules, but I'm not here to establish my dominance, I'm just here to workout, lol) Safety and sanitation are a top priority here. He makes sure everybody inside of the facility is a paying member and have their own private access (key fob or phone). The bathrooms smell so good and the hand soap changes daily sometimes! Bath and body works foam soap! It is true that this gym better serves people who thrive in a predictable and clean environment. Some people prefer to use dirty equipment and have loud conversations in small confined spaces where other people are present. If you are one of those people, this gym is not for you. If you are a bully or can't handle criticism, this gym is not for you. If you make the rules where you go, this gym is not for you. BUT!! If you are a clean and respectful individual who values structure and cleanliness and respect, this gym is DEFINITELY for you! I did want to mention that I have been to several anytime fitness locations and I have incredibly high standards for the level of integrity offered to patrons (excellent customer service, personal accountability, genuine care and concern, etc.) Once I found this gym, I knew it was the one for me.”
