“There are not a lot of laundry options in Des Moines and the other two I have looked at are sketchy at best. That said this one has always been clean and the big machines are priced better than most other places. I have noticed recently several machines have been going down and stay down for weeks. They explained that it takes several weeks to get technicians to come out. This jibes with what an out of town maintenance tech friend told me that his schedule is booked solid for weeks at a time and he only services a small town of 75k”
“Down the street from me, so very convenient. The Place is always nice and clean. The lady that works in there now, with the cute little girl, is cooler than fan, I mean cooler than the water in my swimming pool, I know ya'll can dig it. If she's doing your laundry, shoe her some LUV, like tip'n her a couple of $$$$ won't hurt you. Because I don't know about ya'll, but my clothes be SMELLIN good, and she folds them real proper like, that means real nice, I know ya'll can it.”
“If you’re like me and are new to the Seattle area and are feeling kinda iffy about shared laundry, or if you’re just looking for the cleanest place to do laundry, stop looking and come here.
Their place is always clean and the machines, oh, the machines; they look brand new every time I come in and there isn’t any gunk in the door seals of the washers, and no musty smell in the dryers. You can tell that the folks who work here really take care of the machines and the open spaces.
You can tell that the community likes this place as well. There’s not been a time I’ve come here where I didn’t see another customer taking special care to clean up after themselves if they spill or drop something, or helping someone else that did the same.
Also, hands down the cheapest place in town to drop off your laundry and have someone else wash and fold it.
I spent about a month trying to find the right place to do laundry. Glad that’s over and I can just come here.”
“Clean & affordable, safe but watch your car by criminals thieves druggies alcoholics infested area without law enforcement, there's hardly any sheriff around these peripheral area,a lot of thieves,criminals, cars speedings.”

“Five stars for cleanliness, wonderful customer service from the attendants and a no-drama environment from fellow patrons. A ton of washing machines and dryers. Seating is adequate given the layout of the interior. After telling a couple of my apt neighbors about this location, they are now patrons and enjoy the attributes of the laundromat as well.”

“First time going here! We got the full interior and exterior detail service and:
1.) Andrew was courteous, professional and communicated clearly. When it was time to pick up the car, he asked us to look inside and outside and inspect the job and to let us know if there was anything they missed.
2.) The customer service: we were told that if we saw anything amiss when we got home, we can bring the car back and let them know.
3.) Super easy to schedule. They answer the phone and had the answers to my questions. They answered my questions thoroughly and were kind and not rushed/dismissive.
4.) We will definitely be coming back and will be telling everyone about this place! Thank you for the great work!”
“Staff on site ensures machines always work , place is clean, no unruly guests or kids running around. We've come here for years off and on. Week ago we traveled on 2 buses and train to come here because it's a safe, clean, awesome, affordable space with staff there to ensure it. We have loved this laundry mat for a long time.. Want a good chuckle? Read the sign on the north wall above the dryer s ?. Keep up the good work owners. We often do blankets that need washed here then rder to go from Domino's across the street a cheap 6$ each 2 pizzas after and head home. Nice location accessible right across from Othello 1 line stop and bus stops are in front of here to. Overpriced tacos right next door if ya like ;)”
“Love how clean this place is and they sell cups of soap,fabric softener and bleach for a buck each friendly staff and they have laundry drop off service and all of their washers and dryers work as they shoud”
“Honestly, I wouldn’t take my clothes to any other dry cleaner. These guys are legit. I’ve brought them just about any material you can think of. I’ve dry cleaned my silk linen blazers, cashmere jackets, Canada Goose down jackets, Burberry trench coat, camel skin over coats, wool coats and they take the utmost care of them.
I’ve had light colored linen pants that looked destroyed and stained after vacation. I’m talking about mustard stains, ketchup stains, and mystery black marks on the legs of these almost white pants. I took it to King’s and my pants came back looking like new.
Same with my tan/sand colored jackets — the neck was stained from some unknown substance (probably sunscreen, sweat, skin particle) and they made it look like it was never there.
I’m sure I’ll have more clothes that need saving so I’ll be sure to take pictures of before and afters for the next. Unfortunately I don’t have any for this review but I’ll update it once I do.”

“I was in there about a month ago. Cleanest laundromat I've ever been in! One of the attendants while cleaning off and out the washing machines had a water bottle with a spout, spraying clean the dispenser openings. That is AWESOME!!! I do not like the fragrance left behind from scented products, but especially NOT the clumps of soap and downy left inside. So THANK YOU for that!!3 men were present and attentive to customer needs, but not overbearing like some places.Very helpful. Thank you!!!JulieP.S. I am hopeful one day that the machines which dispense laundry supplies, will also have " natural & unscented alternatives" ?”
“Great place to do laundry. Staff is friendly and washer rates are competitive with other laundromats in the area. Dryers are $0.25/6 minutes, but they work really well and are spacious! A full load takes 18-24 minutes to dry on medium.I highly recommend Southwest Laundry if you need a clean and safe laundromat in the area. ?”
“My favorite spot! If it's busy, I'll gladly come back another time. All machines are clean and on working condition at all times. Usually there's an attendant there, but if there isn't, there's a number you can call and someone will be there within 15 min. Best time to go is Wednesday mornings!”

“Went here for the first time to have some delicate Indian outfits dry cleaned and they came out absolutely perfect. Beautiful ironed and had a nice smelling scent to them as well. The clothes were ready on time and were nicely hung for pick up. Felt great to find and support a local, family owned business! The owner was so kind and informed me he’s been in this location for over 50 years. Quite an accomplishment. I’ll definitely be back again”
“I've not been to a laundrymat in over "30" years. I was pleasantly surprised when I found and went to Dash Point Laundry. Nora, the attendant on duty (8/16/24) was very helpful; taking time, with patience and a winning personality to show me all that I needed to do. Staying nearby to make sure the process was smooth and end results were as I needed them to be. While it may appear to be a simple process to wash, dry clothes, a LOT has changed. She walked me step by step to the "new" way and made my early morning trip positive. BIG KUDOS to a great worker and a very clean facility!”

“I have been using this company for a couple years now. They are great. Quick turnaround and precision pressing. The owners are always there and are polite and efficient.We don't ever speak more than a few words but they have become an important part of my 'community'.”
“Nice laundry mat, not big but is nice and not over crowded when I was there. The washers and dryers were clean and all worked. There is a soap machine to buy laundry detergent and bleach at front of store. There is two change machines one in front also on the wall. This machine only accepts $1 and $5 although on the wall in back of store there is another change machine and it accepts $1 $5, $10, and $20. There are also tables to fold your laundry two big ones located in front and one small one in back tucked behind dryers. Also a descent place to fold away from everyone. There are only two chairs to wait, there is a vending machine and also roller buckets to help carry laundry. Also have plastic laundry bags for sale for 75 cents and located in vending with soaps. This Laundry mat does not have anyone on duty but does offer drop off service with wash, dry, fold and press for price and the number.”
