We decided to come to Renton West after a really awful visit with our previous vet & it was one of the best decisions that we've ever made for our dog.Dr. Baggett & team was attentive, patient, & really kind. Our senior cattle dog mix received excellent care during his initial visit &, most importantly, he was SUPER relaxed during his exam - zero nervousness or anxiety from him, which is always the best sign of a good vet's office!I am so glad that we found Renton West & decided to bring our pup here for care. “Been with Dr Ferguson for about 6 yrs. What a great dr who exceeds expectations and makes sacrifices for her patients. I would not take my exotics anywhere else. The only thing I dont like is that dr Ferguson is always booked up and can take weeks to see her with that being said that shows what a great dr she is”

“Awesome Vet. Very adorable and they are all very nice.My Chihuahua had her teeth cleaned. The doctor did an amazing job. One of her molars needed to be pulled and it was bugging you up out of her. Her teeth are incredibly clean now and the prices were extremely good”

“I have a big German shepherd which many people can be afraid of her. But Fairwood Plaza Animal Clinic treats her like the sweet girl she is! They are kind and gentle and always loving towards her! She has been going since she was 6 weeks old, she will be 3 in May. She hurt her elbow last year but was pretty stoic about it. The vet took his time assessing her and picked up on subtle body language to figure out what was going on. The medical care she gets is top notch!”

“We brought in our very hyper and anxiety filled dog Bridgit in to be groomed. After warning the new groomer about our disabled Pom-Chu, I put the muzzle on her, told her we would be back and to be a good girl, knowing full well she wouldn’t be, told the groomer how we liked her to be cut and we left her. Turns out Bridgit “Loved her”! Bridgit didn’t need the muzzle and she received the best haircut ever!! I cannot express our relief and happiness, if you’re looking for a groomer who understands dogs, this is the place to go!!!,”

AAH worked with our local vet, over 1000 miles away, to make sure my husband could get his pup the necessary treatment. They even precut the pills. Everyone went above and beyond.”
“Dr. Austin has taken care of both our one eyed Frenchie and our crazy, chocolate eating boxer. I believe she gives her best every time she's with me and my pet, and truly cares about us. I sat in her waiting area crying when I thought my boxer may have permanent damage after the chocolate episode and she sat across from me, looked me in the eyes, told me what was going on and said it was going to be ok. And her prices are so reasonable and fair because I think she cares so much. I trust her judgment completely.”

“We had to bring in our pup Dakota after noticing a lump on her rear jaw/neck and being referred to this vet by our regular one that isn’t a “full service” clinic. While I was a bit nervous at first, the staff were all very friendly and compassionate during the scheduling, rooming, evaluation and treatment planning. I appreciated that Dr Edwards was very prompt, to the point, and had a plan of action quickly. For any other needs that our regular vet cannot accommodate, we will be back to Green River. “Today I took my 8 week old Shihtzu into see Dr. Maria Zayas and her team. I saw Dr. Smith at the same location with my other Shihtzu for 15 years. He was good but Dr. Zayas is great. She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions with confidence. She is so sweet, very interested in my puppy and he enjoyed her company, he was comfortable with Dr.Zayas. Anyone that has or knows dogs, they can sense if people like them.Her knowledge is above and beyond any Vet I have been to. I was taught a few things today that suprised me! If you are looking for a wonderful, smart and very clean and pleasant vet, you can't go wrong with Dr.Zayas. “Very nice vet, they have done 2 spay services for me. However to spay a cat is 300$ but that includes the whole thing and ur cat doesn't come back to u until full alert and good to go home.”
“The staff are very nice and so is the vet. I had to put down my cat that i had for 12 1/2 years there and they were great. Before deciding to put her down, they were communicating often and answered any questions i had while we figured out what was wrong with my cat. It was a sad time for me but they were very kind and considerate. They are efficient too. They told me that I’d get my ashes/fur clippings/ceramic paw print in 2 weeks but ended up getting it back in 1 week. I even got sent a condolence card signed by multiple staff members. I have a new cat now and will definitely be bringing her here to the Kent VCA!”

It’s a small facility near Covington and Maple Valley which also houses an animal rescue and has shelter cats available for adoption. Our cat Maizie sees Dr. Yun, and we’re working with her to get our kitty feeling better! Very caring and friendly staff.”

“This location takes small animals and hamsters!!!
We took our beloved Peaches the Hamster here, she was very sick and was at her end of days. Not many people give a lot of love and attention to the death of a hamster, but even the smallest animal provides a bursting heart of love for the humans who get to love on them while they are here.
We were met by Seona one of the tech's at VCA and she was beyond helpful and kind. Her words of sympathy meant the world to us. She even took the time to take tiny little footprints of our Hammy so we could bring Peaches home and give her a proper garden burial with the footprints marker that Seona made for us.
This is one of the kindest and gentlest vet locations we have found in the area. It's hard to believe that you can get a hamster at any local Petco or PetSmart, but there are limited vets who will take in a hamster to give it the proper care that all animals deserve....I am thankful this location was available to take us on short notice so that our sweet little Peaches didnt have to suffer any longer. Thank you to VCA of Covington!”
