I normally don't like to give bad reviews to places that have done me right, however, this is one of those instances where I feel like I got to say something. Several years ago I had a gunsmith at this store put a rail and mount a scope on my hunting rifle. When I got the rifle home I put it in the back of my safe and there it sat. Planning on going out for elk this year so I got it out and went to the range to check if I'm on site. The first day I went I got one nice group at 5:00 at the bottom of the target outside the rings. I went out again the next weekend and never touch the paper at 100 yards. I called up another gunsmith that I know and he was able to get me in to see what might be the problem. Turns out, the person who mounted my scope didn't mount it right. The recoil lugs weren't locked against the rail, and there was no loctite on the screws, in fact, one of the screws was already loosening up as my 30 ought 6 is a semi-automatic and packs quite a punch. Again, since it's been a few years I can't remember the guy's name at the front counter but he was decent to me, even though there seem to be a pretty good turnover rate and some kind of internal employee/management issues going on. I would recommend taking your work and checking it with a timely fashion to make sure that it was done properly. Hopefully they've got whatever issues they were having at the time straightened out and have found a gunsmith who is aware of what he's doing.

Sparing all the details, a miscommunication occurred with some gunsmith work to which the owner and staff of Rehv Arms ensured it was taken care of at no cost to me.
Every interaction I’ve had at Rehv Arms (firearms purchase, gunsmithing, etc.) has always been a pleasant experience. I will gladly drive the extra 20 minutes to support Rehv Arms despite West Coast Armory being the closer shop.

Nice friendly local gun store. Got my scope bore sighted, checked out some lever action rifles and petted the dog.

They’re simply fantastic!! Last month I dropped off my ak for cerakoting and other gunsmithing.
They turned the project around in the exact time they estimated and the pricing was fair. I had them do a Bulgarian woodland splinter paintjob and slick up the stock assembly, the paint came out beautifully and the gun is now properly protected.
They did break the rear sling swivel but that part was made of pot metal and poorly designed, the owner, Jody, called me week before last to notify me and have me look over the part, he said they’ll replace that broken swivel with a quick detach swivel. The cerakote team, namely Jayden, did fantastic work with the paint and pattern. As well as blending the black furniture on my gun and painting the stock assembly black with the greens and tans of the rest of the paint.
I cannot recommend them enough for cerakoting or general gunsmithing! I’ll certainly come back for more cerakoting on my other guns!

The turn around time on slide milling was great, they took a job that would normally take a shop a few weeks at best and turned it over in under 24 hours. Much appreciated!

I highly recommend this establishment. I visited last week with the intention of purchasing a new concealed carry firearm. Keith, a knowledgeable and experienced sales representative, assisted me during my visit. He provided detailed explanations and demonstrations of various firearms, ensuring that I made an informed decision. His expertise, no-pressure and unbiased guidance were invaluable in helping me select the Sig P365x macro, which I am eagerly anticipating picking up. The team at this establishment consistently delivers exceptional service and maintains a commendable standard of business practices.

Charged me $272 dollars and all they did was put some WD40 in my shotgun and claimed they couldn’t find the part. They gave me a website they claimed they tried to get the part from and were unsuccessful. I looked on the site and found the part in two minutes for forty dollars and repaired the gun myself. Nice guys but did not do the job I paid for.

Jody and his team are professional; friendly, and knowledgeable. And, there are generally 4 or 5 people behind the counter! That is very rare for a gun shop, and keeps wait times short. You will only find that many at one other shop (Federal Way Discount), which I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND for a whole host of reasons.
REHV has a good inventory of new firearms, and a very large selection of quality used guns; plus, a gunsmith! Prices are competitive, and if you don’t see what you want they’ll quickly get it for you with no extra charges.
If you’re new to guns, Jody and his team will run you through the basics and give you sound advice. If you’re a seasoned pro, they’ll get technical with you.
One thing that always brings a smile to customers: You’ll hear a squeaker toy and think it’s someone with an infant. Turn around and you’ll find a big old friendly dog; too funny, and the dog is as docile as they get. To be completely objective, the one thing I’d change is to turn off the background music. However, if it keeps the crew happy, keep it on, just real low.
Bottom line: If you start elsewhere; finish here. If you go here first; it’s very likely you won’t go anywhere else. From long time firearms enthusiast, Tom
June 2023 update: Forgot to mention that you will be greeted the moment you enter the shop. Haven't experienced that at another gun shop lately, if ever.
