They are supremely CUSTOMER oriented, they know how to help and treat their customers, and their employees are ALWAYS cheerful, helpful and knoweledgeable. KUDOS to the owners, who evidently have put a lot of HARD work and SMART thinking into their business.I bought my Baby lock Vesta from them in Sept/2023, and have purchased many sewing accessories at their store online, at the Expo in Puyallup and their Tacoma store. It is a pleasure to take their classes, and the Sew & Stitchery Expos they help organize are a MUST: fun, educative, incredible people. KUDOS to ALL of them”
“I really love this game store! I’ve bought some things there and also did some trade-ins related to games and consoles and I am satisfied with the values that they give to me. My Uncle also loves that place too as well, and I’m glad that I took him there. All the workers there that I met are really chill and they’re awesome. I will definitely go back to that store again whenever I’m nearby at Renton.”

315 W Meeker St, Kent“Like every other review says, great selection and friendly employees! They have a huge variety of crystals and minerals, including many rare stones you won’t find at the other “ run of the mill” crystal shops”
“An excellent card shop with plenty of play space, a great variety of games to buy, and a friendly staff. You can't ask for more from an LGS :)They host several card tournaments throughout the week for the many games they carry. They also have a number of DnD models, paints and supplies, and other accessories for your tabletop needs. Their selection of Pokémon, Magic, and Yu-Gi-Oh products is impressive. And they carry more niche games like Weiss Schwarz, Shadowverse, and Wixoss. A fantastic place for a quick shopping trip or playing for hours in a tournament.”
“I had not been to Running Stitch Fabrics until my friends and I took a Sashiko 101 and 201 class. This shop is located in historic downtown Kent. There is on-street parking. The class offered by Running Stitch Fabrics was taught by Malinda Shirley. Malinda is a great teacher with an infectious positive energy, a lot of patience and knowledge. She brought a lot of samples and projects she has made. It was exciting to see the possibilities of incorporating sashiko into tote bags, quilts, placemats, etc. The quilt shop carries a wide assortment of notions, sashiko supplies, fabric, patterns, books and more. There are quite a few quilt samples hanging on the walls and on display in the windows. There is a long arm machine that you can rent after taking a basic longarm class or they offer long arm services. The owner Alice and her staff are very nice. I highly recommend Running Stitch Fabrics.”

“Amazing place. My choice to go to get any cards I need. All clerks are friendly and knowledgeable. Especially Otto, he goes above and beyond to help you get what you need. Definitely go to this store for great service and a good selection!”
“Best Lego store I've been to. Old Legos for the best prices I've ever seen. Good inventory. Helpful and awesome staff. Overall probably one of my favorite places ever. Everything I bought was in good condition as well.”

428 W Harrison St, Kent“Mark is so helpful & very fair & knowledgeable. He always takes alot of time with me & explains everything very thoroughly! I would recommend Stagg's to anyone I know that's looking for honest people! Thank you, Mark. I'll always come to you guys first!”
“Tucked away up in Skyway on the corner of a tiny strip mall is the Skyway Model Shop. It is here model makers will find rare kits of all kinds in well-defined sections with prices comparable to what online sellers are selling for (yes, the owners of this shop do their homework). From car model kits to war planes, art supplies, and just about any & all a hobbyist loves you can probably find here. The hours of operation are minimal & they're closed at the start of the week. Still, if you want to find that elusive kit that online markets can't seem to keep in stock, give the gentlemen here a try. Great shop, sirs!”
“Shout out Anthony who was super helpful on the phone as I didn't know what I was doing at all and was super patient with me the whole time! Wish silicone wasn't so expensive but this site was better priced than others for what I was looking for.
Anthony's the best ??”
“Came in for the first time today for two models specifically. The staff was super kind and helpful and took his time to show me where specific sets were located. I’m definitely returning soon”
“Yup. Michael's in Tukwila is a good store. Ordered 1 qt. deep pour epoxy for p/u. The order was ready w/in an hour. I was hoping to meet my future x-wife here but I again I failed.”
“Mostly RC stuff, plastic models, and kits. They got a tiny little section in the back of the store for model trains. All they got is basically a selection of either Lionel O scale track, Atlas HO scale flex track, and Bachmann EZ Track.
As for locomotives and rolling stock, you might as well forget that. They might have 1 or 2 locomotives in stock and only from Bachmann. As for rolling stock, it's the same thing, just maybe a few pieces in stock from Bachmann. There are also usually a few Bachmann starter train sets in stock as well, but not much. They do have some Woodland Scenics stuff, but very minimal. Additionally, prices for model trains are a bit overpriced.
I normally go to this store just to buy masking tape, spray paints, paints, and thinners for weathering models.
Overall, this store is catered more toward RC and plastic models enthusiasts, along with kit builders, but not so much for model trains. If you are an RC enthusiast, this would be a great store to check out as they have a pretty good selection, I just wouldn't recommend it, though, if you are looking for model trains.”
“Shop owner is the nicest dude ever! He always has solid advice for whatever question you got if you're new and breaking into the hobby. Made my intro into 40k an easy achievable one and also has very informative paint classes as well if you need help ironing out your paint skills! Pick up a kit and paint you won't regret it comin here.Oh yeah, and he saved a 1,000 people from burning building in one go. (Definitely true) so there's that too. :)”
“Amazing!! If you need some help with coins or silver or jewelry this is the place to go. I had some coins and silver and the helped me with everything. Great customer service. Everyone was so kind and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!!”
“I'm not an RC guy, just went to see if they had any model paints of any kind and was definitely not disappointed with the selection of tamiya and vallejo paints.”
