Cute local candy and toy shop. Lots of fun postcards and cards. You can find a gift for everyone there. The candy selection was fun! Candy I found from my childhood, such as, cigarette candies and the waxed bottle candy. The owner was very friendly and funny. We came during off season, it was cool to chat up about the island versus Seattle.

I have two boys who love the Honey Bear, and the following is what they have to say about this store... "First of all, the Honey Bear is reasonably priced, you can get a hundred pieces of candy for 5 bucks if you manage your money well. Next, there are also really good side options like fudge, peanut brittle and more. Another thing, they have a store connected to it so you can get toys and candy at the same store! They also have books. That is why I think you should go to the Honey Bear." "The Honey Bear is really fun. I get a budget when I go and I can usually get a lot of candy! The Honey Bear has three parts to it, toys, candy and lovies. And I just love it so much."

Brought my kids into this adorable store today only to be treated very rudely by the cashier. My youngest was very tired and I was looking to get her something and had items in my hand to purchase when I was asked to leave because my youngest was getting cranky. How do you sell toys for kids but treat people who have children with such disrespect! She’s 1! Will not be returning EVER!

Sad to say I visited the same place today with my family from out of town and the cashier was straight up rude. My advise is dont let your employees come to work after a holiday when it is a nice warm day and act like they are still hungover from the night before. Doesn't make a good combination

The lady at the counter was extremely rude to my niece and her daughter. I was going to buy some things to take home to Colorado for some friends but the vibe was very off-putting.

This has been a routine stop every time we would come up from Oregon. Great place for gifts, treats, and adorable stuffed animals to take home. Highly recommend!!!

We always have a wonderful time at Honey Bear! The staff is very gracious about lots of children being loud and touching things! Thank you for being a highlight of our time in Coupeville.

Visited the store today, and loved the collection. I found gifts for all age groups. The lady at the desk was very kind to my son. He had a great time and wants me to take him back to the store. Highly recommend.

This is such a fun place to explore, and the lady working there is such a character! At first, when I walked up to the counter, I wasn't sure about the beautiful array of chocolates in the cases as there wasn't any lighting in them. The chocolates were made from a local guy, so, you know, support local, so I gave it a try. Holey shmokes was that chocolate good. I'd go back just to scarf down another turtle (I'm a simple gal, alright?) and talk to the lady behind the counter again. Such a warm experience on a cold windy day.

3 stars for a great selection of children's books and activities. - 2 stars for the lady behind the counter. Who when I went to pick up candy (there was no sign stating don't touch) SCREAMED at me twice to put it down NOW. My friend and I was the only 2 in there and there was NO need to behave in such a way. As a fully grown adult. Shame on you. I wI'll not be back.
