Dr. K is an absolute angel. We had an emergency and had to put our senior dog to sleep, we weren't clients and it was a weekend. She came to the house within an hour of our call and made all of us feel as comfortable as possible. Her compassion is unmatched and we are so grateful for the care provided. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Wish they could slow down during exams but they are very busy. They know their stuff too. Vet Kidder does a good job for me and my pets.

Negligent post op care on a neutered pug. Called 3 times to have him checked. MD never called back and no one let me bring him in. Then they blamed us.

Absolutely phenomenal vet. Dr. Kidder and the staff are extremely professional, caring and kind. We had to make and after hours appointment because our dog went into ketosis and they didn't hesitate to drive the hour and ½ to see us and take a look at our dog. Since than we have been working with them to get our dog hydrated and monitored while she recovers and they have worked around our budget and helped us find ways to make things affordable (we have a diabetes test kit for her already and would bring that and her insulin to cut the cost of using their resources). With as stressful as the last week has been they have been the absolute pinnacle of what anyone would expect from a vetinary office. If you are in the area and need a vet this should absolutely be your 1st choice!

I called yesterday 7/7/23 because my dog was having a medical emergency. Whilst on the phone the lady was extremely rude, denying me & wouldn’t give me any other options or suggestions of where else to go just kept saying “No we can’t do that” with a horrible tone of voice, all while I was bawling my eyes out. When I believe my dog is in need of immediate medical attention & the woman on the phone is that incompetent to be respectful, then maybe she shouldn’t work at a place that requires compassion. Any other place I called was way more kind and helpful, giving me suggestions and apologizing for my horrible experience with you guys. Please do better, I loved you guys before but I will never come again. Disgusted.Update to your response:You guys being overbooked has nothing to do with your worker being horrible at customer service. You could have simply told me that over the phone rather than denying me over and over. I was extremely distressed and your workers need to learn how to deal with people with COMPASSION. Making sure to never recommend you guys to anyone on the island. Again, disgusted…your response was horrible as well.

Dr. Kidder made a house call to put my chocolate lab Rosie to sleep. We were not currently patients, and the kindness after a long work day was amazing. Rosie was so at peace and I will forever be grateful for Dr. Kidder for being there for us.
