The scenery is beautiful and has a nice swimming area, though quite shallow. Nice that they have a swing set for smaller children. Horrible experience with all staff we encountered; they were rude and unaccommodating. Wifi was out the entire time we were there, so we couldn't even prove on the spot the communication we received about having pots, pans, towels in our cabin. Don't get me started about how disgusting the cabins were. We were in #12 which needs to be torn down. There are holes in the floor under the linoleum, the floors are squishy and inflate when the air conditioning came on, and there were areas of paneling with exposed nails. Spider webs, dust and MOLD everywhere. Everything was falling apart, including one of the exterior doors that was bent in half. You'd be better off staying in a tent. Charging what they do is highway robbery given the quality of the accommodations and poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone or return.

Terrible experience! Would give negative stars if possible. Started off at check in when we walked into a conflict between a camper and the owner. The owner was yelling cuss words at the customer - very uncomfortable. The utilities are less than acceptable. Electrical is not correct and concerning. We realized after leaving that one of our trailers electrical is messed up and now needs to be fixed! It had tripped and blown fuses during our stay. Quiet hours only pertain to customers not the owner/employees. We left without a refund (a risk we were willing to take) but when asked if we could get a refund because we were not comfortable staying with our family we were also cussed at and ban from the campground. We are okay with that we will not ever be returning.

My favorite lake! Cliff jumpers, caves, rock monsters, wild horses rent out boat or bring your own. New management cabins getting run down no more amenities gotta bring all your own stuff. Best to bring an RV . Blue Lake is still so beautiful as always. We still went this year. We have a lot of good memories. Hoping management does some refurbishment this lake is worth the trip! I love it there!

This was our second time staying at this campground. We were in a large group and stayed in cabins #12 and #16. #12 is a single wide trailer right on the water, next to the docks. The picture is the view from the back area of #12 cabin. It has 2 bedrooms and a futon in the living room. The only kitchen supplies it has is a coffee maker. There aren't any utensils, pots/pans, plates, nothing. They do have a little store, where they 'conveniently' have kitchen supplies for purchase. It had an oven/stove, very old microwave and a fridge/freezer. This cabin has definitely not been up kept. Cabin #16 was much smaller. Technically only 1 bedroom, but had 3 beds. 2 full sized beds in the bedroom and another in the living room. This cabin was very dirty and had lots of bugs. We even had bugs in our bed. We used the shower once and water leaked out of the base. The toilet kept clogging. Would not recommend staying in the cabins.Last year, we tent camped. We had sites right along the water. They had water spigots at each site. I recommend tent camping over the cabins. There is a swimming hole with a dock. It's medium sized and is, for the most part shallow. Definitely bring water shoes and floats if you plan to swim.

The bathrooms were filthy, grounds not kept up, trash was full and smelly, the people running the store and the office could not answer our questions, cars and boats were parked around others campsites not infront of their own campsites and the campsites were on top of each other. When picking our spot, it showed we were on the water, but no mention it was on the other side of a huge rock formation with no access to water.

We have been going to Sun Village for years now but no more. The new ownership is awful, so rude, with absolutely no care for the customers experience. Tents are not allowed on grass and can only be placed on rocky gravel next to the roads, bathrooms are unkept and disgusting, and the beach is tiny. The place was more then half empty during peak season which is quite telling cause all of the other surrounding campsites are booked out. We definitely will be going elsewhere from now on.

New management is worse than terrible. They will curse at you without just cause. They won't warn you of wrong doings and kick you out. They charge you fees that are not in their policies and have a rotten attitude when you question it. 100% do not recommend. These people ruined the best place in eastern Washington. Hot heads attempting to manage customers... not a good combination.

The campground was neat and clean.. picturesque... beautiful location and space. But the cabin I was in was really old and smelly. The bathroom was really old and absolutely needs to be fixed. The shower floor was broken and there were bugs coming out of the drain. I couldn't take shower there.

The new owners of this place are complete idiots and dickheads! Do not ever go here. They promise you things and then don't follow through with them. I've been coming here for 15 plus years and ever since it changed owners it has been a terrible experience and I will not ever return. It's quite a shame as we loved coming here every year. Save your self a trip and don't go. Drove 4 hours for this place like I have every year and was very disappointed. Would leave 0 starts if I could

Not convenient to book a stay change plans for any reason or even want to reserve boats or any uses they're. Pretty grumpy staff manager but really polite cleaning crew that was helpful when they're.

A very warm welcome from day one, and keep on continue to surprise my family and I with amazing views around the resort. Beautiful and peaceful scenery has keeping my soul at ease.Wonderful experience on a boat on the lake is just a plus to my vacation with the resort. Helpful and polite workers makes me and my family forgot that we are just there for a vacation.I strongly recommend people to pay them a visit and experience the beauty of the Sun Village Resort.

Terrible experience!!! Super Rude on topp of cutting power to our site for 3 days and NOT reimbursing us and even yelling at us for using our rv and banning us .. (not a loss) DEFINITELY won't be coming back to this clown show! Had a friend rent the cabin and they had bed bugs all over the place and they just kept blaming everyone else for everything! What a joke this was! Everyone we spoke to said their experience was terrible and instead of taking it like a responsible owner they blamed campers
