Spent a day on/in the lake with **** and ****** at the end of July. Amazing experience, they're both amazing with children (3 & 7 yr old). **** got the kids up in no time and ****** was amazing at pulling beginners for Skiing, wakeboarding and wake surfing. They are super kind, fun and knowledgeable about the lake. They also got the adults up almost every time! Well be coming back every time we're in Tahoe! Thanks for the amazing day.

We rented a pontoon boat and it was a great experience. They were very professional and prompt.

HORRIBLE! The boat they rented us was absolutely FILTHY!! Dog hair everywhere, bottle caps, trash & the boat smelled of wet musty dog. I had to ASK them to clean it for me! HUH??? Is having a cleaned out boat a "special request"? Condition of the boat was just as bad! ripped up seats, tape hanging off steering wheel, stains inside and out. My young son had an allergic reaction to the dog residue and couldn't even ride in the boat. He was devastated....!!!!. No customer service or empathy from KJ rep just "ah man, that's too bad". They benefit from being the only option in the area. AVOID IF YOU CAN

We reserved a boat for 4 hrs the day before we planned on going out. The next day when we came to get our boat we were told there was a storm coming so we would only get 2hrs on a 4hr rental. We were told not to worry, they would prorated us for only 2hrs. They keep your credit card info FYI, I trusted they would be good on their word. Once we got the boat out on the water it started beeping very loudly every 15-30 seconds. The engine was running rough and the boat wouldn't get up past 30mph when speedometer went to 60. Trying to be responsible we brought the faulty boat back in. Who wants to pay for a faulty boat?Kim the manager came and check out the boat, pushed a few buttons, checked the oil and told us it was fine and to go back out. Because we didn't have much time we took Kim's word and went back out but stayed close incase anything happened. Having to bring the boat back in for inspection took 30 minutes out of our ride time and we weren't able to go out far (annoying to say the least). The boat was making an annoying beeping the whole time, not very enjoyable for any of us.. They said it was fine but it wasn't they did nothing to resolve the issue. We felt tossed aside as customers. Total we got about 60 mins on a 4 hr rental with a boat that kept beeping and would only go 30mph. Either all their boats are like that or they gave us a bad boat and worse, wouldn't admitted it.They told us NOT to fill up on gas because they needed to bring the boat in for the storm. I understand wanting to be safe rather than sorry so we did as we were told. (The storm was supposed to hit but never did)Despite all the hang ups, we did as Kim told us and came in early as directed with our faulty boat. The storm never came btw but we still brought the faulty boat back early. The next day when I came in for the second half of the rental day (that I prepaid for) Kim the manager told me that she would refund me the rest. Assuming I would only get charged 1/2, I agreed again with Kim. HOWEVER- I only got $101 back on $351 rental. I couldn't believe it! Kim poorly tried to explain the way they prorated things but it didn't make sense to me at all. She also proceeded to charge me $5/gal for gas which we were told specifically not to fill up on because of the storm. Gas at this time is about $2.40/gal so she ended up overcharging me for gas. Kim gave me a very rehearsed run around saying she didn't have the power to give me the refund and said she needed to make a call but wouldn't make the call in front of me. I asked for the name and number for her boss she said she couldn't give me that. She wouldn't give me the info but assured me she would handle it. I had hit a wall, I was incredibly frustrated and just left planning to call in at a later time.Their number is on the side of the boat but I tried calling several times, no one was ever there to take my phone call and they have it set up so you CAN'T leave a message...Don't let them tell you to call, that's just a deferment method. Other people complained about not being able to reach them as well. This was also frustrating.When they say prorated it's not! Our boat didn't work and they charged me for time we never got. They also gouged me on gas. Make sure you are clear on all charges before you go out! Also, be sure to talk to Kim if you have any issues, the girls working operations are awesome but gave me false/different info than their boss Kim. Despite what Kim says she is the boss and was the one to handle my card info so don't let her tell you she can't make a decision or needs to "call someone else" because she handled everything. The experience was chaotic and Kim was far from pleasant to deal with. I will not be renting from this company again due to bad business.

Their boats aren't good! Won't be renting again. There are other boat rentals on the lake I'll be using in the future.

We had a wonderful time. The girls here were a pleasure to speak to and work with. We rented a pontoon boat for 8 hours, and had a wonderful time, no hitches or glitches. We fished, swam and got sunburnt. We had a reservation for the prior day, but the weather was bad so we spoke to them and they worked with us to reschedule for the next day and it was sunny and warm. Perfect day, and a great overall experience.
