“I first became familiar with Point S Tire in Hood River several years ago when a former employer trusted them to service our compnay fleet, and soon learned what a valuable partner Point S Tire was. I've enjoyed thier prompt professional service on my own vehicles as well and have had my expectations exceeded on every visit. This last week was no exception, when I was able to get imediate service on a Saturday morning for a low tire. The service team went the extra mile inspecting the tire, and ended up finding a fault in the rim that caused the low pressure- and was a safety hazard. My spare tire has a full size wheel, and they remounted my tire and reinstalled it on my vehichle using the spare wheel.....all at no charge. The attention to detail and genuine hometown feel from Point S Tire is always appreciated!”

We got a flat and Mario came after hours and repaired the tire itself so we didn't have to rely on the spare to get back to the airport. “Engine was overheating and radiator fluid was leaking somewhere. Most places in town seemed uninterested or at least too busy for the job. From the first time I called him, Jose was very helpful and honest with how I could find the actual problem.I was hoping to make a quick fix, but Jose knew I would just be prolonging a bigger issue. He found the leak, that the heads were sunk in and needed to be replaced. He was patient in explaining everything and knew my vehicle well.I am very lucky to have a great 200k+ mi daily driver and I was starting to think it finally was on its way out.After the repair, my truck is back at it, feeling and sounding great, even on my trips into Portland.He also replaced the positive terminal cable on my battery that was causing all kinds of issues that I no longer have.”

First, we have complete confidence in their workmanship as evidenced by multiple cars humming along smoothly well past prime. Each service check is thorough right down to that rear license plate light I would never know was out. They clearly communicate options when options are needed, as well as provide reliable timelines. And on that exceptionally rare day when a fix didn't fix it, they find a way to make it right. You often learn more about a business by how they handle missteps. They’re super nice people and are active in the community. Not sure what else is needed from an auto shop, or any local business for that matter. Highly recommended.”

Andy and Dave totally saved the day for me. They were incredibly responsive, fast, and even gave me a loaner car for the day for $10.
