Dollar General is a great addition to Connell. We are a little community, mostly farmers here. There isn't a lot of business here ,;; so we don't have a lot of choices. Dollar General gives us that. There's been a lot of turnovers in the store employee roster. But we don't have a whole bunch of working age kids living here. So that's going to happen. Most of the guys around here either work at the prison or on one of the many farms in the area And many of the woman take a job at the potatoes factory or are stay at home mome with small children. So the store is going to see it have a hard time finding competent employees to fill the jobs. Your stock in the isle show this need. You only have one or two employees on a shift you can't get your shelves restocked quickly. I've learned what's going on by watching and listening. The employees you do have working are doing their best they are friendly and willing to help the customer find what they need. And if it's not out they'll c check in back to see if there's anything that just came in. It will get better. We are grateful to have you as a new and very welcome addition here. You've been able to give us options and you prices help with inflation we've had since the COVID virus. And things are only getting tougher But the store is clean. The employees are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable and we like you expanded hours.. you just need to hire some stickers on the days supplies come in. And someone to show them what to do. Part timers. I'm willing to help. I've worked in smaller family run business similar to dg. Just on a smaller level. But I know how to keep busy and focused. I was a caregiver here. I had 5 jobs that I worked all at once. I just had to arrange my hours in a manner that was efficient and produced the work I was hired to do it can be done here. Id even volunteer hours cuz I want you to stay At 71 I've slowed down about but I would just be helping with restocking. A few days a month I can manage. Heck I have 6 dogs and a 2500 square foot home to maintain and a huge yard
So I am still on track. But just a bit slower. I've earned that with all the years i have been alive and participating in my own living needs. I enjoy working. Earning my keep. As one might say. This is the worst Dollar General I have ever been in. The self checkout lane is always closed because of theft. What do they expect when there is never an employee to be found? I think they all just hang out in the back all day because there is never anyone at the register. When they do finally come out they pretend they do t work there, tell you they are on their lunch break, or have a side conversation and pretend you don’t exist.

This store is worthless like most every other store in this town. I'm almost 40nyesrs old and they still wanted to card me. Bad enough that the service sucks beyond belief but this was the last straw. If possible just avoid this town because nothing good comes from it and never has...

The customer service at this location is atrocious, especially between the hours of 4pm-10pm. No matter how much you complain, how high up the chain you go.. nothing changes. Google really needs to add a half star option!

I literally buy all the grape power aides when they have them everytime....now they don't even stock them any longer.Isn't the point of having a store to sell things that people will buy?? Makes no sense to me.

Having the app gets you a lot of discounts/coupons giving you more savings. It's frustrating sometimes though, when there's only one person on staff trying to stock shelves and help customers on the registers. When they first opened, they had more people on staff and the shelves were better stocked. It's still my first stop when I need something from the store in town, though.

I mostly shop here for the things I need daily such as vitamins and my juice favorites. Can't afford these in regular stores they cost sometimes double or triple in other shopping venues. But Dollar General keeps these items stocked up at their reduced prices. Almost all vitamins or cold medicines are kept around the $5. Price limit. That's Great for my budget. And my juice comes in cartons or cans. $1.25 or $1. For cans. I live on these! I'm 70 can't travel a lot anymore so this is nice and close to home. About a mile away. Thanks for getting here dollar general. Their phones are all reasonable priced too on average about $60. Can't beat that. They have smaller packaging but it's nice to afford what I do use frequently.

Had to stop here on the way back to spokane from visiting tri-cities because they don't have one.I like shopping at different dollar stores( not all items are a dollar here btw, but a good decent amount of other things are too though), I was told they recently opened in February of this year. It is a very nice store and I've shopped at dollar general a few times before. Just get tired of always having dollartree as the only option for dollarstore shopping in spokane sometimes. I didn't browse the whole store, mostly cosmetics and clothing apparel. Oh btw they also have self checkout which is a huge plus!!! And my shopping experience was pleasant and peaceful aswell, and employees were also nice too. Definitely will try to make this a pit stop after visiting tri- cities again.

One of the best dollar generals I’ve been to. New, always clean and in order, nice employees. Just wish some of the things that sell out quickly would be replaced faster.
