Great spot with good views. Hiked the Baker Lake trail and it was a good stopping point on our first night.

Beautiful campsites right by the water. Very easy to get to (just 2 miles hiking along an easy shaded trail.) Some boats and bugs for company, but otherwise a really nice overnight backpacking trip.

Most beautiful and peaceful place. Reflection of two mountains in lake is just amazing.

Short hike (about 2 miles) from the trailhead to an absolutely beautiful and scenic camping spot with room for several groups. I went in the middle of a week (thu/fri) and there was only one other person there. Highly recommended- even for a simple day hike to the lake. Wonderful for fall camping!

Short hike in that the whole family can doA well maintained camp area with great views of Mt Baker. On hot summer days the lake is nice to swim in. A VERY popular spot that csn fill even mid week. It's best to arrive a little early.

It was beautiful in clear weather, with great views of Mount Baker and Shuksan. Some sites are pretty exposed and windy until late evening, and easy water access was limited to the very tip of the point because of the low water level (probably about 15 feet down). There are two toilets, one with zero cover from its toilet trails; use the other one.

One of my fave waypoints on the hike around Baker Lake. Trail's easy, and the views are pretty here

Backpacked in 2 miles and found one of the more private campsites. Some are less private but have more spectacular views. We came the weekend after Labor Day so the boat traffic/noise was minimal and did not bother us. I could see how there could be loud and annoying boat traffic during the summer. The campsites are beautiful! There are fire pits and someone took the time to cut fallen stumps and make seats and make the campsites quite comfortable. Water access was a little challenging from some campsites but I think it changes with the change in lake level. We needed a rope to get down to the lake to filter water. There are 2 or 3 toilets (just the toilet and the forest, not an outhouse) and there are multiple large bear containers that can be shared between sites, which was nice because our site did not have good branches for hanging our food. GREAT place for introduction to backpacking and just a relaxing trip with additional conveniences that other places may not have.

Great spot to hike to, lots of boaters and boat. So it gets pretty crowded in the summer, but the sites are spread out enough that it's not too bad.

Great Campsite! Very clean and well kept. Comes with an even better view of Mt Baker. But be prepared to either take a gorgeous hike in or kayak across the lake to get there.

Great spot to camp, went in May 2018. The first night there was only myself and another couple on the other side of the point, by the weekend all the spots were full but it was still quiet. Except from the camp ground across the lake lol. I will be going back again!

This campground is beautiful, especially in the off season when you have the entire place to yourself!

Level, family-friendly hike; turn around when you think you're half what you want to hike; nice scenery of the lake
