I have been looking at mini split ductless systems for my home (so I can move up from window ac). So naturally I checked at Home Depot.com where I located a DIY version. When I got a notice of a price reduction (on what I thought was sane unit!) I engaged the chat option where I specifically asked if the unit I was looking at was DIY. The guy in the chat line said yes it was DIY . I ordered it but in taking another look I found it it was definitely NOT DIY. In fact doing it that way voided the warranty. I attempted to cancel order but too late. Sending it back when it gets here. At which time I plan to have a chat with local Home Depot about being given misleading info! Ask twice. Order once!

Home Depot #4735 College Place WA I was looking for a new deadbolt when I asked Jeremy to help me. He showed me how he could tumble the lock and make two keys for me for only $5.00! I was thrilled as I could not find a dead bolt to fit the door and we needed to have extra keys cut. Jeremy was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional while helping me. Everyone in the store was very helpful! I look forward to shopping here again!

Home Depot won't give our military troops and veterans the 10% discount if an item is marked 10% or more off.

I ordered 2 Hampton Bay Vertical Blinds online to be shipped to this store. My contractor picked them up and installed them for me. When he opened up the packages we both saw the dents on both of them in the same location. He straightened the rails, but once the blinds were up they didn't close or open properly. I went to the store he picked them up from and they told me I needed to order another set and bring the bent ones back. Really? I would have to pay the contractor to remove them and then transport them back to the store. Plus my windows would be bare until I could get the new blinds here and installed.

I was working with customer service person (female) while fixing up a home to sell, she had my credit card information. In March of 2016 I noticed that I had two charges for a little over 390 each and did not know what they were. Called the credit card company and found out that I had purchased game stop cards, cash cards, star buck gift cards. I called this person she denied the charges at first then admitted she did use my card and was going to repay till her family member got sick and forgot she was deeply sorry and promised she would pay me back. (I have the text to validate this conversation), Two years later I have not received any thing from her and she is still employed at Home Depot. I just wonder how many people she has scammed out of the use of their credit card or how many items have been taken from the store. This is not a trustworthy employee. Shame on Home Depot for keeping her employed. All I can say is Home Depot customers check you credit card statement every month

Customers beware of employees stealing from you!! It amazes me that this Home Depot (College Place,WA) has an employee who used a customers Home Depot card, without permission, to purchase over $1000 in gift cards. This employee has admitted to her theft stating she "intended to pay it back before anybody noticed." Complaints have been filed and yes a refund was issued, however Home Depot is still allowing her to work there.... We had another post about this, and even though Yelp says that companies can't delete them, it has "disappeared."

Sales people here are terrible, guy sold me a vacuum attachment for a small work vacuum I bought and I double checked having him assure me it was the right attachment, he rattled off the measurements more than once. I'm on a work timeline here and don't have time to run around all day, he screwed me. I recommend not having them help you.

Home Depot card holders beware! My families Home Depot card has has numerous fraudulent charges from a unauthorized, non family member, employee of Home Depot college place! I believe it must be way too easy to access customers accounts when times are tough! This "very pleasant" gal was nice enough to inform us via text that she had every intention of paying it back before we had noticed the charges. The receipts that she had given us for her purchases(theft) add up to hundreds of dollars! Christmas two years ago, must have been a good one for some lucky soul! Hindsight, we can proudly state that we made someone holidays a little happier!

I went to Home â€Despot†to buy some lumber and to get it cut for a storage shed. Never had a problem before, but this time we selected the lumber with the help of a great employee and spent about $600. While he was cutting two supervisors wandered by to tell us that they were supposed to charge for cutting despite the fact that that had never been communicated with a sign or any other way. The large saw and cooperative employees are the main reason I go there, but I will look for alternatives in future.

I've shopped at the College Place Home Depot since the store opened and am very satisfied with their products and their service. I'm a homeowner, not a contractor, and when I go to Home Depot with questions about a project I always find someone that helps me get my issue resolved. The Home Depot team has helped me solve project issues involving plumbing, electrical, lighting, roofing, drywall, appliances, tools, storage, tile, painting, carpeting, gardening, furniture refinishing, pest control....it goes on and on. Their product selection is vast. Their employees' knowledge levels vary just like in any similar sized business--some are new to this industry while others have years as specialty contractors or general contractors. I have always found someone to answer my questions. I will continue to shop at The Home Depot in College Place because they're good. I've never had a bad experience at The Home Depot.

Some how some way, you guys need to figure out how to stop people who aren't veterans, from parking in the 2 veterans spots. Almost every time I shop there, I see people who as a veteran, know aren't veterans. Either take the signs down, or check people. Maybe turn them into Purple Heart parking. That may eliminate the disrespect.

I have started and completed some good sized projects having no problem finding what I need at a fair price.

They usually have what I need but most of the employees are worthless when it comes to construction knowledge.

So's I gets on the Ameche to look for a saw. You can't make wooden boxes for "things" without one right? I calls the Home Depot store in College Place WA. I've called before and it is regularly a waste of time but hope springs eternal doesn't it you mugs? Some robot ankle's voice goes on and on and on til you feel like you might puke so yas presses any button. Some palooka who calls himself Andy picks up. He says he's in appliances so he's behind the eight ball when it comes to saws. So say I .. let me yak with someone who knows saws. He switches me back to some broad in customer service who also doesn't know what a saw is. She tells me they don't have anyone named Andy working there. I says look lady, I can't control what he says his name is. I get that. Let me bump gums with someone that knows what a Miter Saw is. Now I ends up with some d*** bunny who tells me he is walking over to where the saws are displayed and reading the price tags to me. Sound to you like he knows about saws? I says what about the "Black Friday Sales" you have advertised as going on today. He says oh .. that's only for Xmas stuff. I told him "exactly" the saw I was looking at and how much I could buy it for elsewhere. I told him I didn't want any of the junk saws, like Ryobi, Ridgid, Wen, or Crapsman. I wanted something that says DeWalt, Makita, Porter Cable or the like in a sliding double bevel compound miter saw. ( I don't buy spin offs when I buy a gat either. It's true, sometimes you get what you pay for) Says I, if you ain't got any deals I'll order it online today, I was just check'in as I like to part with my mazuma locally rather then send it on down the road. This cat gives me a SKU number. I says what saw is that for? He says it's for a DeWalt non sliding saw. I says, HEY .. I don't want a non sliding saw! DOH! He hangs up on me. A good thing for us both I wasn't actually in the joint. At least he closed his stupid head. That's a plus. My last couple trips to this joint were much the same. All my phone calls the last year have been like I just came down on the planet from Mars. They don't speak hardware here. I see no reviews in the last couple years for his joint . I get why. The customers took a powder. You should too. Unless you are just kill'in time. The prices aren't anything to write home about. The mugs that work there should be work'in in yard sales. Nah I'm kidd'in. Likely they wouldn't know a hammer from a hedge trimmer. I'mma drift on over to the counter, pour me a cup of fortified java and order a saw from Amazon.
