Extremely rude and lazy postal workers at this office with mail carriers who absolutely refuse to deliver packages for completely made up reasons, including flat out lies. They will stop at nothing to find an excuse to not do the jobs that they are paid to do. Visiting/calling does nothing as they won’t even get back to you. Mail should be taken more seriously as people are reliant on packages for small business, gifts and other deadlines. This is inexcusable. I have lived in multiple other zip codes (99021, 99208, 99009 and 99003) and have never experienced this level of incompetence and ineptitude.

My mail person refuses to do her job, making up completely illegitimate reasons to not deliver my packages. This is laziness. We pay postage and should expect that postage gets our packages to the door. It’s a 30 minute round trip to get the packages at the post office, and we work full time so of course it’s extremely difficult for us to get there during their unreasonable hours, including daily lunch hour closures. Whenever I have the choice for whom my mail is posted I will NEVER choose USPS. What a shame as there are most definitely some hard working delivery people out there but Colbert post office does not employ them.

I received a note from a prima-donna mail person that she won't deliver my packages (most of which get left on my doorstep a few steps away from my mailbox as they won't fit in the mailbox) because my truck is too close to the mailbox and she won't dismount. I explained in a note in reply that the truck cannot be moved as it broke down and is waiting for a repair. Still no budge, she refuses to leave the packages and holds them at the post office so I get to drive there and pay my respects.

they will not deliver packages unless I am home? I work fulltime so their hours are my hours, now I need to leave work early to pick up my online order? I order online cause I cant make it to the store that has extended hours, why would they think I can make it to the post office with less hours available? Its a Costco purchase, flip flops and some tank tops, less then 100 bucks and they cant leave it at my door???

For over 20 years I've had nothing but fine service at the Colbert Post Office. They are dedicated people who try to serve the public to the best of their ability. We are lucky to have our own "country Post Office" so close and convenient and fortunate to have it still open for us.

Every time I go in here there is a very rude older man at the front desk. He is ALWAYS super snippy towards me and makes me feel like I am stupid for trying to get something that they held behind the counter. And tries to yell at me for having something delivered via FedEx or ups like I had a choice? I buy everything off of Amazon and have no choice on who I want to deliver my packages. I do not recommend this place at all.

Best post office around! The lady working there has so much positive energy and she makes customers feel uplifted unlike most post office locations.

Refuse to do their job, it’s been multiple days now that just one of their guys refuses to deliver mail. Had a couch delivered to my front porch and the same day he wouldn’t deliver mail at the mail box because of the dog, INSIDE THE HOUSE. Really super poor and needs to be changed, I’m tired of fighting with snowflakes.

Had a package that was supposed to be delivered received notification at 9:00 in the morning the day was supposed to be delivered that they were unable to deliver it when I called to find out why was greeted by a rude man who said he would find out and return my call which he never did went to pick it up this morning and their business hours are different than stated on the website so they were close by the time I got there so they're holding my package captive for no reason other than they're lazy

First time going to this post office and I'll never go back. Went in this morning to send passport papers. First off, it was a ghost town as I expected. No one was at the front and so I rang the bell for service. The gal (short blonde gal, probably in her late 50s early 60s) comes out already grumpy. Seemed irritated that I rang the bell. Then she was put out by my question of "which envelope do you think is best for sending passport paperwork and important documents with it?" After I grabbed the correct envelope, she says "fill that out and then I'll help you". So I proceeded to fill out the envelope with the shipping information, which I had no problem with and already knew I'd have to do so, but then I needed her assistance with just stapling my passport photo to the paperwork. I'm one handed, I do not have a left hand and so I asked for help with this task. She says "You should have had this all done before even coming here" in a nasty tone and shaking her head. I said "well as you can see I needed your help and I appreciate it." She finally stapled my picture and I then put the paperwork in the envelope and sealed it. After paying for the shipping, I felt like telling her that she needed to quit her job because she was horrible. People like that should not be in customer service.

Ask questions about your flat rate shipments. I noticed the flat rates were quite higher, only to find it was being shipped 2 day [which was not requested], and as a result, the cost of my shipping has doubled. I feel cheated.

Our mail carrier stopped delivering our mail and did not notify us of an issue or how to resolve it. When we called to find out where our mail was and expressed our displeasure with the lack of notice they hung up on us.
