Best pharmacy I've ever used in WA. Over the past 2 years, all of the drive-thru staff I've interacted with have been incredibly helpful, kind, & efficient. Super quick at filling prescriptions from my doctor. Very helpful & responsive over text. So thankful to have finally found a good pharmacy!

Absolutely awful pharmacy. The chief pharmacist is uptight and rude and it spills into the other employees working for him. I don’t appreciate being snapped at and talked down to nor being berated by the pharmacist. I’ve had multiple awful experiences at this pharmacy and will never go back. People doing frequent business at a pharmacy are often struggling already and this is the last place one needs additional stress. They’re also extremely slow in filling prescriptions to boot. The woman at the drive through is friendly, that’s the only high point.I wanted to support the local economy but from now on I will take all my business to rite aid. This business needs be shuttered.

They were super rude and unhelpful. I will avoid Island Drug in the future and take my business to Rite Aid in Freeland where I was treated politely and with respect

I like the drive thu and I like the text messaging option. I have always had decent service. The phone answering could be improved, but so far it works. I like being let know if my prescription is ready.I am speaking for Clinton location only. Oak Harbor location has a very angry female employee there.

Keep trying to use local, but this place operates on rudeness and customer service is non existent. If you don't like your job, don't take it out on the customers. Rite Aid may not be local but one is greeted with a smile when walking in the door and the pharmacy answers the phone.

Disappointed. When a pharmacy is advertised as open until 7pm in a small community, and you are needing important medicine, it's disappointing and frustrating to see someone in the drive through window quickly closing everything down with the doors locked at 6:45pm. I'm fine with reasonable policies, but this felt bad.

I have had nothing but problems with the Clinton pharmacy. First they overcharge me twice for a prescription, I had to give them my insurance card 3 times before it was straightened out. Then went in on Monday to get the flu shot was told to go online fill out the form and come back Wednesday so we did that the form said it was successfully processed walk in there this morning to get the shot and they have nothing so we have to start the process all over again. I've tried hard to support our local small business but that's it I am done,,,!!

Today, Saturday 2022/11/19, I went to the Island Drug website, and it showed that the Quad Flu vaccine was in stock. The website also said that the Clinton store closed at 16:00. I decided to get the Quad Flu vaccine today. I filled out the Flu vaccine form and submitted the form on its website.I feel extremely unhappy with my experience at the Clinton store today, which I now describe. I arrived at the Clinton store at about 15:05. I walked to the door, and it had a sign that said the main store closed at 15:00 but the drive through was open until 16:00. So, I walked to the drive through and waited behind a car that was next to the drive through window. The car drove off. I then walked to the drive through window and told the woman customer support representative that I was there for a flu vaccine shot and that I filled out the Flu Vaccine form on its website. She said that they were out of the flu vaccine, and you should not trust its website. I expressed my strong dissatisfaction with her answer. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she answered that she only worked there, and her supervisor was the owner who is in Oak Harbor. I further expressed my strong dissatisfaction with Island Drug and told her that Island Drug wasted my time, screwed up my schedule for a couple of days, and caused great inconvenience to me. She failed to apologize to me. I then walked away at about 15:20.

terrible customer service in an awful location.. the staff here is almost always unkind and seems to dislike being at work. It's a shame that they can't be nice to customers or go even a little bit out of their way to help people... total failure of a pharmacy. It's telling that most people would rather wait an hour in line at Rite aid for okay service than to come here where the lines are much shorter and somehow still slow...

Very poor phone service, cannot ever get ahold of any pharmacy staff. Leaving a voice-mail doesn't help either. I get my prescriptions from the mainland.

The pharmacist and staff person were incredibly rude. I waited 30 minutes to get a covid booster shot in spite of having a confirmed vaccination time slot that was set up online after completing a lengthy and poorly set up questionnaire. There were eight people ahead of me in line, several having had problems completing the poorly set up questionnaire so they were completing the lengthy questionnaire in person. My appointment was for five minutes after my arrival but the time of the appointment seemed not to matter to anybody there. When I mentioned the appointment time to the pharmacist, he yelled, that I should wait in line like everyone else and that appointment times don’t matter. After a 25-minute wait to "check in," the check-in consisted of confirming Moderna a second time (after already specifying Moderna on the online form) and answering for which arm I wanted the shot. The staff person did not apologize for the exceedingly long wait. When I told the staff person it was an unacceptable wait, she replied that I would expect to wait that time for a doctor's appointment and this is no different. Receiving a vaccination shot should be fast and easy when you have a confirmed appointment, have completed a whole lot of paperwork well in advance, you are on file with the pharmacy, and the government ensures payment. It is, in fact, way different from a doctor’s appointment because a doctor spends varying amounts of time with patients for a variety of ailments. After receiving the vaccination shot, I stood to leave, took a few steps to the doorway, and then told the pharmacist that their vaccination system was poorly administered and that I was taking my business elsewhere in the future. He said in a nasty tone “You don’t understand anything.” He then quickly approached me to within a foot of distance (very much in my personal space) and looking down at me, said, "Get out of my way" in a most threatening tone of voice. Then he proceeded to yell at me in front of other customers for not appreciating his poorly run operation. My husband and others that I know have already gone elsewhere because of the incompetence and mistreatment at Island Drug in Clinton. I won’t go back despite the inconvenience of going off island.

one of the most disturbing pharmacists i have ever had to observe berating customers needing assistance with the dismal scheduling module online, being ignored without any explanation, sneering as they leave that 'others have no problem, do not understand how you do not get it.....' and then watching he and his assistant laughing at her as she leaves.truly i have observed this pharmacist on several occasions when i had to report for an immunization and will never return.no one deserves what he dishes.no one.

I went there to get a flu shot because I saw on there website the walk in were welcome. The gal at the front desk was not helpful, she indicated that I need to fill out the form online. Nothing on their website said that. Also, I help that since I didn't fill out the form that I should not be there. This company is not helpful and they have a poor website. Also the company does not answer there phone they let everything goes to voice mail and selectively do not return calls.
