my packages are being held but when i come to collect they tell me i cant cause they havent sorted it, ITS BEEN 3 DAYS since it was delivered yet somehow its not in my po box i cant collect it by name and even tho i show the tracking stuff says its there (their own tracking site) they wont do jack and im starting to turn grey from anger and stress. not bad employees just no organization or quality control.

A lazy town that gets paid to do nothing. You won't get notified for days having import mail sitting at the post office., delivery drivers are just as worse, good luck to all the new people that have moved here. You won't be satisfied. What post office closes for lunch? Smh.

I'm in agreement with Ellen C. above. This PO has two employees that meet the public daily. One appears to be conscientious and willing to do the job with a smile. The other........ she's plain ol' nasty rude and unpleasant. Has no idea about how to listen, just talks loudly right over you when you're trying to explain a problem. It's a tiny town and I've talked to several other folks that feel the same. That's the story on employees, now the rest of the story.While preparing to do some long term travels, the lady and I both put in forwarding address forms (to the rude one). Where we were going is to my home. The lady is a resident of where we'd be traveling from. I had no problem, I had mail waiting on me, forwarded from where we left, and I continue to receive mail about every day.We've been here nearly 4 weeks now and the lady has not received the first piece of mail, not one! She should have received her property tax bill, several other bills, and routine mail from friends who are now asking if she's ignoring them.Her daughter in law went in to check, and was met by Her Rudeness, saying there has been no mail to be forwarded. We both know that can't be. Companies don't just suddenly decide to forgive your monthly payments, and counties definitely want your property tax payment, ON TIME! So where the heck is the lady's mail going? They have no clue, but something definitely went wrong, and Her Rudeness can't be bothered to look into it.I wish I could talk to a regional Postmaster about this, he/she would get an earful.So, that's where I stand on the Chewelah, WA post office performance. The delivery people are all first rate, the kind who deliver in lousy weather and poor road conditions and still manage to be decent people. Her Rudeness should be sent packing! She's very lucky she never was on one of my crews!

Not sure what had happened to the mail system I the last week but went from getting mail like usually every day, to not getting it at all for 2 days, it just literally started, use to be everyday and around the same time, now don't get it at all

I love Gwen, she’s been here forever and it hurts me to leave this review. However, I went in the morning of Tuesday the 11th and had quite the experience with the woman on staff. If you hate people, can’t get yourself to even be fake nice to customers, PLEASE don’t work in any sort of customer’s service field. Everyone has to go to the post office, it’s not a choice- but working at this job when you have no idea how to treat people is!!!

I’ve never had an experience like the one I had here. The woman that was working was so rude my jaw nearly dropped. This place is a complete disaster. You are government affiliated, this isn’t just a private owned clothing shop ran by teenage girls- our community deserves more and expects more, there is ZERO excuse for how you treat people.

Had a package that they attempted to deliver once and then held the package for over 2 MONTHS. They finally returned it to Amazon. So sad because it was a gift. Thanks for the disappointment.

For a small town it’s very sad how extremely rude these people are. Iv had issues with Tim, Gwen, and Jill- my packages get “lost” every time I get a notice, and when I demand they search they act very inconvienenced before looking and finally finding it. I understand that the holidays are busy but when you’re handling people’s children’s presents you should act more empathetic and like you actually care.Edit: they found my package the next day and delivered a new packing slip with an extremely sarcastic rude note on it. A simple “I’m sorry for being rude to you” or “I’m sorry” would have sufficed. Merry Christmas and thanks for helping “spread the cheer”.

They lie. I revieved two notices in one week stating they attempted to deliver. I waited for the post lady the next day. I was informed they never loaded the packages in there vehicle. They're short handed was the reason. Amazon paid the pist office to deliver to my house. Now i have to drive to the post offic and wait in line during a pandemic.

Gotta give a 1 star based on the last 2 days trying to mail a package. The lady working isn't the usual cool helpful one who is generally working. She was asked to give quotes and refused to disclose any shipping rate other than priority. Refused to print the quotes like is normally done. Rude to both myself yesterday and to my wife when she brought the package back after being boxed as asked. Told my wife she should take it to the mailboxe store. Really?Terrible attitude and terrible service.What days does the normal cool lady work?
