Was just informed by the Safeway Pharmacy that they no longer provide any pharmacy services for veterans, even if they are 100% disabled. They told me that they only take cash from veterans.

If you want to get snacks, food, and sweets, then this is the right market for you! This store is very like Vons. They have everything you need, like meat, yogurt, and drinks!

Worst pharmacy ever!! Polly it's rude, their staff are remarkably slow, or just can't be bothered to give even the slightest bit of customer service. If you can go elsewhere, I strongly recommend you do. Zero stars for these chumps.

Theresa in the bakery dept is amazing. Not only is her cake decorating/art work impeccable and beautiful, her customer service went above and beyond what I could have expected. We had a mix up on a relatively big order I had placed (celebrating lots of birthdays on one day!) and although it was not her mistake, she stayed late to correct it and get my order completed. She went above and beyond in her decorating and really made up for it all! She was so friendly, helpful and apologetic. I wish all employees were like Theresa!

Seems that the young kids that work at Chelan Safeway deli need to be taught customer service. They were all in the back talking an laughing instead of helping customers even though the 1 older person out front kept asking for help. A big girl finally came out, she picked a young snow flake who had pushed her way to the front. Big girl was laughing w/ snowflake about the customers she pushed away. Next time I'm in there the big girl is getting a lesson on customer service.

Honestly the most incompetent, unorganized customer service I've ever dealt with. 2 hours past the time I was told my script would be ready to be picked up with every check In being more problematic than the last. Ended up walking away with 1/3 of my prescription fill, for them to communicate that to me at the very end was a complete waste of my time. Do yourself a favor, and go to Walmart.

Safeway pharmacy used to be great. The staff still is. Unfortunately, another pharmacy in town closed, so Safeway took on their customers. This made it so the line is always terribly long. You literally have to wait for over an hour just to pick up a prescription sometimes. We will be switching pharmacies because of this.

Our pharmacy closed and they sold the prescription base to Chelan Safeway. This is the only pharmacy I have ever been to that "cannot" use secondary copay insurance. Also, the copays are relatively high for the cost of the medications. I have not paid a copay for almost 25 years due to having a primary and secondary insurance, until I went here. Pay for insurance but still have to pay cash to get meds, I don't think so. Also, employees seem very stressed.

Why were the parking lot lights not on? Went into Safeway to pick up a few things after a late dinner. Arrived at 8:30ish, we thought they were closed because the parking lot was pitch black. Gas station was very well lit but the parking lot was dangerous in my opinion. We do our shopping, lots of customers in the store, go to check out and there was one checker...self check was lined up and this one gal is it. No one else...she was helping customers in self check, checking my basket and running the customer service, video rental. Crazy!

This Safeway was just like any other Safeway at first glance. The shelf's full for the most part, trying but failing to prevent the spread of COVID. And in these uncertain times I would like to know that my local Safeway has everything I need, but I was disappointed to say the least. The main problem with the Safeway was their sushi, I know it may sound silly but where I come from sushi is a sacred food that should be kept and stored with cared, but when i bought a box of spicy California rolls I was disappointed to see they were frozen and hard.
