Lake Chelan Valley Habitat for Humanity is a private, non-profit organization that builds homes in partnership with qualified low-income families. It seeks to provide decent, affordable housing. The Habitat ReStore accepts and sells gently used items ranging from home furnishings and clothing to household items and tools. The store is well-organized, clean, and has a great new look. Shoppers can find nice clothing, glassware, shoes, toys, books, and small appliances. The cashiers are professional, friendly, and helpful. Prices are understandable, better than anyplace in town, and average for the area. It is a typical thrift store, not focused on building materials. Every donation, purchase, and volunteer helps local homeowners achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance.
I shopped at the Habitat today and not only did I find some really nice clothing, but the cashier was super professional, friendly and helpful! It was really refreshing! Thank you Habitat!
