I am giving 2 stars because the staff at the post office it's self have always been very friendly and helpful. With that said the delivery drivers at least servicing hwy 6 are have done a continuously poor job. Repeated miss deliveries to wrong address is the main one to the point multiple people have started a Facebook thread about it. But the final straw for me was an Amazon package the delivery driver couldn't find time for so listed it as "customer requested pickup". I understand things get busy, I even understand is an item get temporary misplaced but to then lie to say I asked for it not to be delivered because they couldn't is shameful. But to add insult to injury my wife pack up our 2 young kids to pick said item up at the post office, only to find out it was again out for delivery, but wait there is more the delivery driver once again failed to deliver it "unable to deliver". Please do better

If I could rate you zero stars, I would! I want to just say a huge Thank You to Chehalis USPS for leaving trays of mail unattended on their loading dock which in turn allowed them to be stolen. Thank you SO SO much for causing my drivers license to be stolen so that I now have to deal with identity theft issues for years to come. On top of being able to open accounts in my name such as cell phones and utility bills, the thieves will likely be using my DL for traffic tickets and criminal infractions and I won't know anything about it until a warrant pops up in my name for failure to appear, or unpaid tickets and fines eventually show up on my credit report. And I'm sure my countless amounts of neighbors who had credit cards, debit cards and checks stolen really appreciate your decision to leave mail trays unsecured and unattended as well!
And you know what, maybe it was someone new who made that poor, poor decision. Or maybe your policy allows for mail trays to be left unsecured and unattended in an area accessible to thieves. So I fault upper management for their complete failure to either train people properly or their complete failure to have proper policies and procedures in effect to prevent things like this from happening. It would be one thing if my mail was stolen directly out of my locked mail box, because that would not have been a preventable act. But this right here, this was a preventable act. You and your poor decision have ruined people's lives and finances for years to come. Recovering from identity theft is a huge, long uphill battle. So again, thank you for your total failure to protect the mail that is entrusted to you to be protected and delivered.

My best advice is get to know your neighbors! That's where my mail carrier prefers to deliver my mail and packages.....

This rating is based on a 10 month struggle to get my mail consistently delivered. Somewhere in the USPS pipeline my address is flagged as "undeliverable" so I do not receive all of my mail. This includes prescription refills from the VA. Fortunately, the VA notified me as well as other senders about it. Spoke with Carl (local postmaster) four times. Still not resolved. It's time to privatize the USPS.

We had to get a locked box because mail was bring stolen from our neighbors mail box. I was told that there was "no problem" delivery packages that don't fit to the house. Everything has been great but recently, packages are being shoved in that small slot ruining my item. I called to make them aware of the issue, and the manager told me that if they can get in that slot (no matter what it takes) that is allowed. They have even brought it to the house and put it by the door, even though we have a huge box with all delivery methods noted on the front! The latest episode, was prescription bottle shoved in that slot and broken bottle and medicine everywhere in the envelope. UPS, FedEx and all other delivery services are much better to deal with. Wish they delivered mail!!!!

A year ago we went a 100$ gift card to a friend who was struggling because of covid. The card went missing and a year later they still refuse to do anything about it even with a receipt provided.

You can’t talk to a real person if you call. Sat on the phone trying to fix something and none of the options I needed just kept cycling though the same options. Absolutely stupid
