We needed somebody to do some repairs on our 2006 Land Rover LR3, so we were ecstatic when we found a mechanic that was dedicated to Land Rover! They did an amazing job getting everything taken care of, and at a very reasonable price. They were also very accommodating of our schedule, which was greatly appreciated. We will be using Rovin Rovers for all future service on our LR3!
On a side note, there were so many cool vehicles outside his shop. Just pulling up the first time it was clear we were in good hands as their love of Land Rovers was on full display!

My 1998 Land Rover D1 was tired and nearing its lifecycle end. She was hurting with 384,000 miles on the original block.
I was considering putting in a professionally rebuilt engine. I came across Pacific Northwest Rovin Rovers via web search and found an establishment that seemed to share similar affinity for these great old cars. I approached them with my seemingly harebrained and questionable ideas, and though my situation was somewhat geographically undesirable, Jahn took the time to discuss with me my ideas, the pros and cons and options. He’d never met me, never seen my car but was knowledgeable and generous with his ideas. I couldn’t help but decide to have them redo my car.
I drove my car overheating and burning through alarming amounts of oil all the way from San Francisco, to Chehalis, Washington. When I got there I knew I was in the right spot, Jahn is a great person to work with, very knowledgeable and completely understands these vehicles and the people that own them and want to keep them.
Jahn provided me multiple realistic options for a very tired and worn out automobile. We put a reasonable and doable plan together. John and his team were a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. If there was a problem, he notified me clearly and provided his best solutions and options as we went through the process. In the end, Jahn revived my car and I drove away very happy.
I’ve always loved driving my truck and hated to see it failing. Jahn helps keep my love for this car going. I can’t thank Jahn and his team for the work again. Only wish I lived closer but then Jahn would get sick of me, thank you John for everything you’ve done to keep my Rover on the road. I will be back!

Worst mechanic/automotive shop I have ever dealt with. They are not upfront with pricing, it's impossible to get ahold of them even if it is during their "open" hours, if you send a text or leave a voicemail expect they will get back to you in about 3 days. The women who manages the phone, via text and calls is extremely rude and unprofessional. If you don't need your vehicle for months then it will be fine sitting in their lawn because that's how long it will take for them to even look at the vehicle. After they look at it you will have to reach out and ask about it, they don't update you proactively. This shop is probably fine to bring your Land Rover for general maintenance but by no means is Jahn a "Land Rover Specialist." He knew nothing more than any other shop I have taken it to and charged 3 times the amount for diagnostics... Coming to the same conclusion as every other shop.Service: Electrical

Worked with Rovin Rover on an engine replacement in my 1999 Land Rover Discovery Series 2. They did a great job and in a timely manner. Ran into a couple issues and they quickly handled it. They were nothing but helpful, kind and professional. The biggest thing is they are Rover lovers.

Unfortunately 0 is NOT an option. This is clearly someone who has turned a hobby, into a poorly run business. The phone, that being a single # is NEVER answered, mailbox full, calls are not returned in a timely manner if at all. I have to wonder about Jahns actual mechanical history. Being an enthusiast about a particular vehicle, does not make a great mechanic. I have called 10x documented in my phone with 0 response. It takes a lot to piss me off, but his lackadaisical attitude, shoddy work. Will both show in final product.

Hands down the best independent Land Rover shop in the Northwest. Been taking my Rovers to Jahn for the last 8 years and wouldn’t dare take them anywhere else (only reason they are still running and running better than new)

I just bought a brand-new 30-year old Rover, and without Jahn's clear expertise and just plain good nature, I'd have had to let it go. Jahn is the rare guy these days who truly cares about every part of his work, and it shows. I'm glad I found Rovin Rovers. I won't go anywhere else.

Jahn and Emily at Rovin Rovers keep my truck moving. I try to schedule early so that I stay up to date on my oil changes and check ups. Jahn and I always have a good chat about what might be coming up next for work on my car and thus helps me get to things before I have get towed.
Jahn is intuitive and professional.
Plus they have an off roading play field and host off-roading play dates. So fun!

Jahn is completely top notch. He charges a reasonable hourly rate and he works super fast. I've been using him for several months now on my Discovery II and he has taken care of every issue. There have even been a couple of times where he didn't charge me for his full time because he didn't think it would have been fair.
I completely and fully recommend Jahn and Rovin Rovers. Plus, he has all of the diagnostic equipment and computers, so there is no need to pay dealer prices ever again.
