The rooms at this place were nice, but the service was horrible and the manager and the owner micromanage The people that stay there they called my room to ask me to move my car from a parking spot because it wasn’t the right parking spot even though it’s a motel and then I had my family come over and visit in the morning for a few minutes and they complained about having people over also check out time was 11 and we were getting our things out of the room to leave the room and they called us at 11:04 and reminded us that check out time was at 11 I might be wrong about the 11 o’clock thing but I mean 11:04????The manager and owner of this place are very very disrespectful and nosy and I will never stay at this motel again and I hope that my review lets everybody else know how horrible of an experience it was.

This hotel is owned and managed by a very friendly couple, and they keep it spotless. All it could improve upon us the bedding. They are still using old-style comforters. It is obvious they do their best to keep them clean, bilut they are just too bulky to pull it off. I stay here often and will continue to do so because of the owners and their cleanliness.

I booked a room at the Relax Inn without reading the reviews. After reading them, I almost canceled, but I gave them a chance. I am glad I did. The lady at the desk was gracious and helpful. After we checked in and checked the room, we found the heat lamp in the bathroom was not working. When we told the lady at the deck, her husband was at our door within 5 minutes. Within 30 minutes, we had 2 new lamps, and a hand shakes. So, if you are looking for a nice, clean, friendly place to stay. Stay here

This is in regard to the owners, who are also the managers. The wife was extremely disrespectful and rude. I tried dealing with the husband only because of this issue, and she started to yell and scream, very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here or request the husband when doing any business or have any concerns.

I can’t edit my review but wanted to also add that there has been several times my husband and I have stayed here and had issues with the management, over charging for the deposit , rude clerk , charging items fraudulently. We will never ever go back here.

The two good things I can say about this place is, it was easy to get to from I-5, and easy to get back on the interstate. That about sums it up. Who in their right mind would build a motel next to a set of railroad tracks?Rooms: This place is so outdated, I feel even the Beaver would be disappointed. Wall outlets were overloaded with multi plug adapters. I ended up unplugging them while I stayed there.

Takes card info online to book room but doesn't charge card and won't charge it without it physically there. Which sounds nice in some ways for security purposes, but in my situation, it was really inconvenient.. When I asked about other options, I was immediately treated very rudely. I had all my card info and had tap to pay or was going to ask about other options or an atm and the woman at the desk was not even listening, answering me, or entertaining the idea of even trying to help me. She raised her voice at me and kept repeating, "No, no, no, get out now!" She slammed the door, and when I tried to come back in after transferring money to a different card, she refused to even open the door, which she originally answered barefoot.

NO WAY! 1 star is too many! I showed up for my reservation. I had made a reservation for 2 nights, July 27-29, for a wedding. When the wedding was cancelled, I emailed my cancellation request on July 20, but reserved a room for 1 night July 23 and another night July 30, to make up for the 2 night cancellation. When I checked in on July 23, I advised I have a service dog. He said service dogs are not allowed in the room. Weird, since they do allow pets with an added fee, but legally, they are not allowed to charge a pet fee for a service dog. I told him that, according to the ADA laws, a service dog can be in any room. He then yelled at me that he knows the law, and said there was a $150 deposit! I told him I didn't see that on the website, and told him I think he is discriminating against me b/c he doesn't want my service dog there. Then, he screamed at me, "F**k You! Get out of here!" I couldn't believe it! I walked out, then remembered I need to cancel my reservation so he doesn't charge me for the room, since a cancellation requires 24 hr notice. I walked back in, and said to cancel my reservation. He screamed at me to cancel it online, but there is no cancel option on their site! I told him I wasn't leaving without my cancellation confirmation. He screamed at me that he wasn't going to do it! I couldn't believe it! I told him I would call the police if he didn't give me a cancellation confirmation. He came out from behind the front desk and charged at me like an angry bull, screaming & cursing at me to get out, that he won't give me anything. I called the police. After I finished my call with the police, I noticed he had emailed the cancellation confirmation for July 23. But, I still had the other 2 reservations, as he never did cancel July 27-29 per my email request. I called him, and told him to cancel the other reservations, and he said he didn't have any other reservations for me! I said I have the confirmation emails! After arguing with me that he had no other reservations for me, then, he said, "Ok, I cancelled". He had lied about no other reservations! It took a police officer to go in and demand printouts of cancellations for each of my 3 reservations!! Oh----I almost forgot----after he came out from behind the front desk to lunge at me, his crazy wife came out, also screaming at me!!! Both of these people are whack jobs!! I wouldn't stay there if they were the last hotel on Earth!! He tried to scam me out of my money by refusing to provide cancellations, then lying that there weren't any other reservations to cancel!! Stay far away from these nut jobs, unless you like to be assaulted, cursed, and otherwise abused. I asked the cop if I could file assault charges against him, but he said a battery has to also occur for an assault charge. That hotel dude is very lucky I could not file assault charges against him! Next, I will report him to the ADA so they can fine him for telling me my service dog wasn't allowed in the room!

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! VERY DIRTY AND THEY DONT CARE!!! THERE IS BLACK MOLDY STUFFF IN THE BATHROOM!! I was told I was lying about the room, screamed at and cussed at by the owner who lied and said he was just the manager after 9 days of trying to contact him.

Spent a night here and everything was great!!. Front desk person was very helpful/welcoming and the room was clean and tidy. The King bed was great. Would definitely recommend this place for the price.Brent F.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DIRTY ROOM Only get a star because zero is not an option!!!!! The room could be okay if it were clean. We found a mans dirty baseball cap under the chair that was scooted up to the table. It was clearly visible from across the room. You may want to bring a black light with you for this one.The parking lot was full due to 4-5 big box trucks housing dogs, each one taking up more than one parking spot which was a problem because my mom is currently physically impaired which limits the distance she can walk which she has a handicap placard for. When asking the front desk to ask one of the trucks to move out of the spot designated for our room the man at the front desk said he didn't want to make that person mad. We left for the day and all of the trucks were gone. We thought that we would not have the same problem tonight but unfortunately when we got back to Relax Inn the trucks were back and again taking up more than one parking spot each and with one of them being assigned to our room. Just as we did the night before we asked the man at the front desk if he could have them move over and only use one spot, that man said that there was nothing he could do about it and dismissed us as if was shooing away a fly. I am livid and this is wrong to treat someone who has a physical impairment with such disregard. We have stayed here before and will never again.
