Scheduled an appointment for my f 450 dually and drove two hours for the service only to find that service was unable to be completed because the list was occupied and the garage does not have grease guns

I continue to have a great service experience. Sara was fantastic, friendly, professional and I look forward to bringing my truck in soon! I did have one mishap, the technician spilled some DEF on the side of the truck, but did not clean it off the paint, fortunately, I was able to clean it without any damage. Mistakes happen, yet I would have expected the tech to have noticed and addressed it prior to redelivery too me.

Edited to add! 8/28/24 dropped my car off of a scheduled appt to address the rear heated seats that the car was supposed to include when I purchased it but it was placed on a recall they just now had the parts to fix…2 years later. picked my car up and the module is installed butt the heated seats don’t work and I was told that the service guy only installs and doesn’t diagnose that. I would have to bring my car back and have it diagnosed and then make another appt to have it fixed! He knew they didn’t work but wasn’t going to say anything LOL we discovered it before we left the dealership.
This is the 5th vehicle I have purchased from Heidi’s dealerships. The last two experiences have been awful. This time I purchased a new 2022 ford timberline. They charged me full price for tinting ALL windows when only the front windows had to be done, they did it the wrong color even, and when I brought it up they said they will redo it or we could write off the labor for installing my mud flaps to make it even. I have never been charged for labor to install something When I purchased a new vehicle. I chose to have it redone and it’s still not right. I paid for a large roof rack and got a medium and they are claiming they only charged me for a medium but my paper work says otherwise. I dropped my car off to have the DVD players installed, when I dropped it off I had a fulll tank of gas and my car had 309 miles. Two days later when I was able to pick it back up, it had over 500 miles on it, and they left my car with 60 miles until empty. Should I mention the 2000 dollar DVD players are total garbage? They only work half the time and glitch out several times during use and the controllers don’t work or the buttons on the DVD players. I’ve reached out several times and had no response, and still waiting for a phone call that my mud flaps have come in. Oh and did I mention that who ever installed the roof rack rails put a small dent in the roof, and they claim they do not see it. I also somehow didn’t catch that they added an EXTRA 4k to my financing for an extended warranty that I was told was already “included”. I am so beyond disgusted with this experience and I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from here. Ever.

Made first appointment of the day so it would be on time. 1 1/2 hours later I was looking in the lot and see my truck on the line, done. Had to tell service manager my truck was done and his reply was “oh, you’re still here”. He went to the desk and said it was a printer error, same excuse i have received the last 3 times i have been there. Took an extra ten minutes to get out of there. 1 hour 40 minutes for an oil change seems to be the new normal there.

Told me my lug nuts were seized and couldn't do tire rotation. I was told I needed to buy aftermarket lug nuts and bring vehicle back to get the originals "chiseled off" and they would install the aftermarket parts. They recommended I not use original Ford parts and have this delt with during my service. All of this sounded rather odd however I did purchase a full set of lug nuts and took the vehicle to Les Schwab and asked them to do the tire rotation and told them the dealership story. Les Schwab rotated the tires, (not their brand) as the vehicle still has the original equipment tires. installed the new lug nuts and returned the original nuts to me with no apparent damage at all. Les Schwab performed the work at no charge. This is not the only issue I have had with Awesome Ford. I have done business with my local Les Schwab for 12 years and will continue to do so. The same cannot be said for " Awesome Ford"

Update: 8-21-24 - still a great dealer to work with. This time i just wanted to sell a car and the price they gave was so fair it was worth selling to them rather than keep it on the market to try myself. Can’t say enough good things. Make the drive to Awesome Ford!
Update: 9-23-22: Well I upgrade one more time! and of course, I did it through Awesome Ford. I will always go to them first as they absolutely rock! I can speak from experience - 3 cars in under 2 years! All amazing experiences!
UPDATE 1-28-22: after 7 months from my original review below, I bought another car (special order) from Awesome Ford. Ryan, Bobby, Lexi and Phil were all great to work with. I can say with full confidence after 2 new car purchases you won't be disappointed with this dealer.

Finally! A sales manager who is honest, upfront and laid back with none of the “run around games” so many other like to play. Ryan was outstanding to work with. I usually prepare to go to war with salesman because they are usually dishonest and deceptive. I was pleasantly surprised when the first price quoted for the car I wanted was 4K lower than I had seen…literally in the nation!! I research everything so I know when a good price is quoted, and they did! No need for war here! Just an honest, detailed quote upfront. Ryan and Bobby located the car and had it delivered. They even quoted a more than fair price for my trade over email. None of this “when can you come in” nonsense. I only “go in” when the numbers work.
Most of the paperwork was done online/texting and all I had to do was show up a sign the final docs with Brian who was also pleasant and did not try to force me into purchasing extra stuff. He gave me options and did not make me feel like a moron for turning it all down. This was Hassle free and by far the BEST experience I have ever had in 23 years of car buying. Do yourself a favor and let these guys get your next Ford for you. Your probably going pay more and waste a bunch of time if you don’t! AWESOME FORD IS TRULY AWESOME!
