Had a chevy th350 built with shift kit, and transmission brake. Doesn't shift to 2nd. And company has changed hands not covering warranty originally offered. Bad business.

I cannot say a big enough "Thank You" to James and the team that fixed my truck. I was camping in my 5th wheel at MossyRock Park when my tow vehicle wouldn't start. I used AAA and they had a list of mechanics to call. All of the places I called were booked out for weeks. Transmissions Unlimited was the only place that listened to my concerns. I had 4 days of camping reservations and then we had to move the 5th wheel. I also had to pick up my daughter at the airport, so I needed to get my truck fixed and get back on the road. Turns out my water pump went out, which in-turn broke my serpentine belt. They also found water in my differential and I badly needed an oil change. All of this was fixed in 2 days and James drove 45 minutes to my camping spot and gave me a ride back to the shop at no charge. Highly recommend them.

Took my 4l60e transmission into them out of my Silverado. They had me in the same day that I called and had my transmission done in about 2 weeks. Great service super nice guys and my transmission shifts absolutely awesome!

Called transmission unlimited and told them my family Yukon had metal shavings in the transmission fluid and was throwing a code, with the small amount of research I did it needed a new transmission or a complete rebuild, I shared this with the fellow I talked to he told me he don’t give quotes over the phone and told me to bring it in the following week in the meantime the Chevy dealer about a mile away had a opening so I dropped it off there they confirmed that the transmission was if fact bad and gave me a quote of 6700.00 plus tax to replace it a lot of money I was thinking so I moved it to transmission unlimited to get a rebuild quote he sent me the quote and I was surprised to see it was 8000.00 plus tax he call me the next day to ask if I wanted to do the repair and I told him I was thinking about it he asked if I was interested in selling the vehicle and I told him I was for the right price he called me back about 10min later and offered me 1000 dollars for a 2016 Yukon xl fully loaded this is when I decided I did not want my vehicle to be there any longer than it took me to pick it up I went there he charged me a 180 something diagnostic fee. dropped it off at awesome Chevy and they replaced my transmission for their quote. I would never recommend this company.

If I could give this place negative stars I WOULD! STAY AWAY!! This place is a scam and does not honor their work. Not to mention is incredibly unprofessional. I write this beyond disgusted on behalf of my elderly veteran father who was left multiple times stranded on the side of the road after spending $6,600 on a new transmission that he had to take back 3 times, then less then 2,000 miles into this "new transmission" he broke down again out of state. When he called to speak to the owner and mechanic Gabe the very rude man who answered the phone responded to my father with "well what do you want me to do about it" when my father told him he was broke down on the highway. Then this same man told my dad if he wanted a copy of his receipt "get a lawyer" after Gabe refused to honor his warranty and left him stranded in another state. I strongly advise you to take your time and money elsewhere. This shop should be SHUT DOWN!

Transmissions Unlimited is my go-to for auto repair. They are up front with the cost and I have not felt over charged. It's challenging to find a mechanic who is honest and does good work, but that's what I've found with Transmissions Unlimited.Services: General repairs & maintenance

It is hard to find a shop that is honest and fair. Then when you add on clean and quick, it makes it all worthwhile. I have been returning all my vehicles to Gabriel at Transmissions Unlimited for a few years now for all our simple standard service items and some significant jobs, including complete engine replacement. In times like these, when buying new is out of the question, having the team at Transmissions Unlimited helping keep our older vehicles on the road is super important. I Would not come here I got my car back with something in my driver door rattling my car is making more noises from the engine and transmission after I got it back.
