“This review is not indicative of my opinion of Goodwill as a company, just this store. I like coming here at least once a week to see what electronics they have and to pick up a few CDs. Thanks to this Goodwill I have a CD player, cassette deck, A/V reciever, and 5.1 speaker system for only ~$80 (new price would've been ~$3400 considering inflation). I've also gotten lucky with the functionality of the electronics. I've bought around 8 pieces of equipment and only 1 hasn't worked, and it was a low quality VCR that I was desperate to get at the time. I have since bought a second one (at this Goodwill) that works. This store is not perfect, though. I'll list some negatives: 1. No restrooms 2. No dressing room (there used to be one) 3. There is almost always only 1 register open. Only a few times have I seen 2 open. I have never seen all 4 open. This usually isn't a big deal but there have been a couple instances where I've had to wait a few minutes while holding a 15 lb piece of equipment. 4. Some weird people come here 5. CDs are $3 per. I feel like $1.50 or $2 per would be a better price, especially since most of the stuff you find is Christmas, religious, or classical music. At Rainy Day Records up in Olympia used CDs are usually $1, sometimes $3, but you find more mainstream stuff there. The latter two are a bit objective but the former three are legit. Don't come here if you need to use a restroom. Included are pictures of interesting items I have seen/bought here”
“Now this place should be voted no.1 Thrifty store in lewis county with their cheap items to very friendly smiling staff, A very large selection you can literally pick a big toy for your kiddo for free while that the same toy would cost you 15$ at Visiting Nurses or Goodwill.”
“Best store I've been to in the 4 years I've lived in Washington.Hannah is absolutely the best employee working here! She is so kind and helpful !It's like having my bestie every time I walk in the door to shop!Thank you ?”
“One of the better thrift stores around. Not 5 stars because lately they've taken the $7 minimum stance on clothing items that has taken over in most thrift stores. I find it difficult to understand these increasing thrift prices on FREE inventory. You would think the FREE inventory places wouldn't be as subject to inflation as everywhere else, but they're all doing it now, including VN, sadly. What will get you around this is the 50% off day on the 15th each month. It's crowded though.”
“I go to this store often and usually find a great deal on dishes, silverware, and home goods. Clothes are priced too high for my liking, but if you hit the fill-a-bag sale it's a great deal. This year they have stepped up their seasonal sections and have a great variety of holiday decor. Staff have always been kind to me and given me great deals, you just have to ask and be reasonable!”
“One of my favorite thrift stores in the area. Some items are broken and dirty and like all thrift stores now a days, some things are overpriced. BUT!!! I never skip this one when I'm in the area. I've always found something good here. And they have great sales. :) There's a parking lot that's always had a spot open when I come, which is nice for being downtown. It can be difficult to find a cart on some visits, so that's been a small issue but overall- I recommend. The staff has always been so friendly as well.”
