Lori is an exceptional stylist. My hair is a bit difficult to deal with and she's the only person that's been able to tame it. Shes very good at the small details and always does an amazing job. I wouldn't trust my hair to anybody else and I can't recommend her enough!

I recently walked into Lotus Salon to inquire about stylists who are accepting new clients. I was given the name of Jessica Jewel. She has an online booking program and I didn't want to schedule without speaking with her first. I wasn't sure what to book, as I needed some color overhaul. I texted Jessica on July 26, 2022 and she responded on the 28th asking me to send photos of my current hair situation, as well as what I wanted, which I did. Radio silence. Today, August 8th I decided to text her to give her polite feedback about her lack of response. I have spent the last week and a half waiting for a response from her, so unfortunately, Lotus Salon has lost my business. Maybe they don't really mind, because I've read a similar review about the same stylist.(?) This was also my coworker's experience. She walked into the salon with me and we both reached out to Jessica the same day. Exact same experience with sending her photos upon Jessica's request. Unprofessional and bad business. Lotus Salon owner... This stylist is making you look bad. One star, because I cannot give zero stars.

I had sent an email to a stylist by the name of Jessica at this location back in November of 2021 with my concerns and requests regarding hair color, dye and cut; I even mailed pictures. No response. Assuming she was just busy, I call to schedule an appointment, she mentioned she'd text me her link to schedule an appointment and disconnected the call. I never got that text. A sign? Maybe but I wasn't giving up. Thankfully I was able to schedule an appointment without receiving this link. I had to schedule my appointment 3 months in advance, agreeing to a no show policy regarding last minute cancelations. I'm a LMP and fully understand this concept and agreed to the terms. I took time off from my busy work schedule to make this appointment. The scheduling program will send a text stating that my appointment needs to be approved. The gal that suggested I see Jessica, told me she doesn't confirm her appointments and it was never confirmed...As this date arrives, I wake up the morning of, today, with a text saying my appointment was canceled. And another text that followed explaining why it was. I understand last minute cancelations, as I mentioned I'm a LMP and they happen; more often then one may like. But usually that's when one is sick or they were called into work. It's usually a situation that's out of either the client's or the professional's control. This situation was not out of anyone's control. The professional had full control in checking her upcoming appointments, checking her email, to see if she is able to meet her clients needs and she didn't. Communication had failed. And, rather then discussing other options for my hair regarding the type of dye that I was requesting to be used wasn't even given. It was chosen by the professional, Ms Jewel, that just canceling my appointment without offering me other options for my hair was the best option for me. Uh, thanks? Again communication has failed in this situation. And from my standpoint this was very unprofessional of this hairstylist to do to someone that has scheduled an appointment three months in advance and to someone who sent an email back in 2021 asking about this exact thing that was on my note when I scheduled my appointment 3 months ago. I also understand that someone can be so busy that things like this can slip through the cracks. But with having a client hold to a no show policy, the professional needs to hold themselves to this standard as well. No matter how busy they are.I am extremely upset and very disappointed that I wasn't even given the opportunity to have other options for my hair. I wasn't given the choice to say yay or nay to what she had available to offer me. I would have been happy with just a full color and a cut. I can't help but feel that my requests were seen as a way out because maybe this certain stylist is overworked and needed a break. I was one of her first clients for the day and I was canceled. I will not be scheduling with this salon again. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

I have been coming in to lotus salon for several years now. They are the most friendly, clean, Professional place ever! The atmosphere is actually soothing when you walk through the door. You just know you are going to have a wonderful experience. I always leave there feeling pretty, and well cared for.
