If you're looking for a short review, sorry, but Darren and the crew do great things and I want to talk about it. I called him for a quote when my 2.5L Jeep engine snapped an exhaust valve at highway speed, sending it through the number 2 piston at about 254,000 miles. He was very thorough with the questions he asked regarding what I wanted done, what parts I wanted to order, etc. I pulled and disassembled the engine, brought them the parts, they machined the head, block, rods and crank, got me a new camshaft, head bolts, pistons, rings, bearings, rebuilt the head (valves, etc), primed and painted the block and head, just really did a great job overhauling everything. He was even patient with me while I asked dumb questions during my at-home reassembly. I got the engine back together, dropped in, bolted up and wired, and it started right away. I let it come to temperature, spent some time slowly revving it, took it on the highway, and it's running great. I've got nothing but good things to say about the work Britco does, and the attention to detail Darren puts into both taking a job and completing a job is much appreciated. Great work and thank you so much! Hopefully I get another 250,000 out of the rebuilt engine. These guys know their craft.

Wonderful machine shop and group of people. Helped me along the way with the build of my engine. Machined my heads for screw in studs. They also have an engine Dyno that we ran the motor on. Darren and his wife are a joy to do business with. Great deal of knowledge and expertise. The Dyno run with Shane and Darren was an awesome experience.

We have taken several heads here to get cleaned and pressure tested. Have had great success with them. Pricing is very fair as well! Highly recommended!

Had a crankshaft polished and cleaned and put it in my block and oil pan on and thought about the galley plugs in my crankshaft and decided to check their work and pulled the oil pan off and pulled a galley plug out. He didn't take them out an clean them . Those metal shavings would have gone right through my bearings, causing engine failure. Now he has caused me a lot of work and loss of money and that's not all, Please don't take your engine there. You have been warned.

I'm back with more problems, Britco Auto Machine shop. My crankshaft that I paid this company to clean and polish, I put the crankshaft in and put my engine altogether and was about to put it in my truck and I decided to check the galley plugs in my crankshaft to make sure he did his job right, so I pulled the oil pan off and pulled out a galley plug and I was right he never took them out and cleaned my crank properly, there was metal shavings in there plus crude that would have gone straight through my bearings and would have had engine failure. This man is a rip off and a con with an attitude problem. Please do not take your engine there to have any work done on it. I've had to take my engine to another shop to repair what he screwed up. You have been warned.
