We ordered some bulbs for our beardie's terrarium when it was time to switch them out, but they were hard to find at our usual places. The bulbs were packaged well and shipped quickly. We received a couple of friendly emails that really showed the local store's advantage over the big online stores. We'll definitely check back when he needs more.

I have bought many items online for my bearded dragon and was pleased with the quality and the fast shipping. To my absolute delight, Bean Farm now has a retail space in Norman, Oklahoma- not far from me! I went into the store last week and was amazed at the selection of supplies for reptiles. Not to mention the friendliness and expertise of the shop owners. I will be back!

Absolutely amazing customer service and they have really competitive prices! Even though it’s a long drive for me, I’ll be shopping here for EVERYTHING I need from now on! I even bought a reptile light that didn’t work with my lamp and the return was a piece of cake. What matters the most to me is that they won’t push you to buy something you don’t need like other stores in the area. I’m a customer for life!

Unbelievable customer service! We buy a lot of supplies and I will always start with The Bean Farm from now on. We are in Columbia, SC but they get our orders to us in no time. They answer questions, they answer their phone, they answer emails, they actually talk to customers!!! Do yourself and your reptiles a favor, become a Bean Farm customer!

Terrible, terrible customer service. Will never buy from again and would never recommend. Bought a fixture from them at a show that was an hour away from me. When I got it home and tried to use it, it was defective. The bulbs don't fully screw into the fixture, so the light won't stay on. I reached out to them to see what could be done and their immediate response was to blame me for using incorrect bulbs. "Sounds like you have a bulb issue, not fixture issue" was their response. I had to send them photos of the bulbs I'm using. Their final response was "that's a standard bulb with a standard fixture, should work just fine". They took no responsibility and didn't try to make it right or offer a resolution. They treated me like I was there to con them. I asked if I had to contact the manufacturer, since they offered no help, and they have not responded since. Buyer beware.

Purchased a book through them with only option of shipping being USPS and naturally it was lost. This was an Amazon purchase with a shipping charge. Was given a song and dance about how unfair Amazon is with shipping and free shipping at that. But wait I paid for shipping and the shipper they chose not me with just one option and price. Don't like Amazon don't sell there. Your shipper choice lost my purchase. Rememember just wait you said. 8 plus days to go 30 miles. I would have paid 5 times the amount for shipping to get it here. I get the fact they didn't lose the book but they did stake claim to free shipping what do you expect. How about more choices and the realization I did pay for shipping. I guess they don't have room for more customers so avoid them at all cost.

Very bad customer service. I purchased Provent-a-Mite from for the 2nd time to keep a mite infestation under control. They input the wrong address which caused a delay in delivery by over a week! More than likely I will have to start from square 1 in getting rid of these mites which I had already gotten under control. All these guys offered was an "I'm sorry" as if that would make up for their mistake. Don't expect these guys to actually care about their mistakes or even offer to make things right. If I could do a negative star, I would. At the very least, they could have offered a future discount since I will most likely have to buy more Provent-a-Mite due to their mistake!

I must admit, I'm not thrilled with buying from anywhere other than amazon and ebay, but The Bean Farm surpassed all customer service expectations. I had questions and they returned emails quickly and when my order had specifications they worked to get me what I needed. I feel like they actually worked for me. Can't say that I've ever experienced that anywhere else. Thank you, Bean Farm! and my hermit crabs give you two claws up!
