A super place. We attended a friend's bday party here. It is a private beach. Picnic tables, bathrooms, docks, play structures, sandy beach, grass field, and a wonderful climbing tree.

This was our second year watching the Independence Day fireworks at Lake Marcel and they did not disappoint! The community potluck started at 5:00 pm and the tables were clearly labelled. People were swimming, kayaking, fishing, and lounging in the lake and even more folks were milling around the park. Our group arrived around 6:00 pm for dinner and was able to get one of the few tables there. We left and came back right as the fireworks started. We were able to find a good place to lay our blankets for our group of five. We watched a 15-minute community show with music followed by a solid 30-minute fireworks show from a neighbor (still on the lake).
