Camlann Medieval Village offers visitors a delightful recreation of a medieval inn in England, with a historically accurate setting and modern conveniences. The Village days and festivals are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, from May through September. The Bors Hede, associated with the Village, is open year-round for reservations only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with seatings at 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm. The food at the Bors Hede is excellent, with dishes like the Fenberry Pie being particularly praised. Visitors can enjoy live music from a young lady playing the hurdy gurdy, who is happy to answer questions. Reservations are required for the Bors Hede. The Village itself is small but packed with interactive and educational experiences, allowing visitors to learn about life in the 1400s. The hands-on activities, such as weaving, make history come alive and engage visitors of all ages. The volunteers are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, enhancing the overall experience. Camlann Medieval Village offers a unique and immersive way to spend an afternoon, with a focus on historical accuracy, educational experiences, and delicious food. Visitors can easily spend a few hours exploring the Village and its offerings.

This is a childhood staple of mine. Absolutely gorgeous, and it seems to be getting more lively than it used to be! Go on festival days, and try the feasts if you're able to snag a ticket!

A great living history of midieval Europe in a beautiful northwest woods setting.
