Friendly greeting staff, abundance of weights, stations, equipment, open space for floor exercises and never too busy!

I enjoyed my time while being here.. but beware of miscommunication upon signing anything. Found out the rep had signed me onto a year contract when I had specifically asked for a month to month.. resulting in high cancellation fees. When speaking with a manager she gave me an email and I had to ask a dozen times for her to simply provide me with a name to the supervisor above her.

I am not impressed at all. The weight room has a huge fan in it and it would be so nice but... the fan has never been cleaned, its caked in a thick coat of dust and as it blows it blows dust all over into your mouth as you are trying to bench press. The machines are mixed up pretty crazy and its just kinda a mess. That dusty fan though..i told the desk kid about it i sure hope they can get it cleaned because those poor people are choking on dust.

Quiet and friendly staff. Good place to unwind. Okay to work out. Kind of small area. Some have poor attitudes and could care less.

Cara & Rachel are absolutely terrific leaders of this community club. The experience of being a member here for nearly two years has been sooo satisfying & just keeps getting better. They’ve especially made immense improvement to the swimming program including children & parent taught classes which my son is part of. The swimming program has a pretty solid structure with instructors who really teach with sincere passion & provide all kids equal attention in enabling them to develop their skills. Glad to be a member here.

Quite literally charged my card over $350 all at once after I requested a cancellation months prior. When I called I recieved a horrible tone and was told that it was "too bad". I work a very heavy customer service job and I've never seen or heard any of the staff I worked with speak to a customer the way I was spoken to on the phone. When I sent in an email explaining my situation I was emailed back a week later with no apology or remorse and then was told I'd be charged THAT month AND the next month again. Please consider these possibilities if you consider signing up.

I was at the gym a few days ago and met the nicest young man at the front desk he told me his name was Gavin and gave me the sweetest little wink. Made me feel right at home.My first thought walking in was that this guy was just big and dumb. But I guess I can’t be right every time.I’ll for sure be back to see that smile. ;)

No military discount and very pricey for a gym....I ended up canceling for those reasons

Expensive membership for the basketball court being occupied by other sports most of the time, and the hours closing ridiculously early. Especially on weekends. Closing at 7 on a Saturday is pretty absurd.. Would not recommend going to this golds.

Very outdated small gym. Old machines, only 2 squat racks, small free weight section. Too expensive for the quality.

Nope. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Do not give them your account number. For all the reasons listed below in the bad reviews. Predatory business practices. I would give zero stars if that was an option. You must sacrifice a great deal of time if you decide to cancel your membership and still be charged. Way too much money for what it is.

Out of the 3 Golds in the area, this is by far the worst! Everything is so outdated and they charge $20 for a day pass! You can go to a WAY better athletic club for half that cost on a day pass! The ONLY benefit this place has over the other two locations is the pool. I would choose Cascade Athletic Club just off 164th over this place in a heart beat!

The sign up process is dishonest. We signed up for month to month membership, but when we tried to cancel, found out that we were signed up for a yearly contract that would cost my spouse $165 to cancel but it was not possible for myself or our son to cancel since we had different agreements. Called customer service, and they said only the local manager could cancel a membership. Called the local manager who said that she thought I was probably lying, and there was nothing she could do. We went in three times. My wife started one month and signed a month to month agreement. I went in two weeks later and signed the same agreement. We signed our son up shortly after. All three times, we received the same speach about month to month and cancelation. It was not true. Dishonest business practices. Avoid this place. I have never had to write this kind of review in my life.

Terrible customer service.I emailed a question about group classes and then joined based on the answer. Turns out I had misunderstood the answer so a couple of days later when I tried to attend a class I wanted, I was told I couldn't attend due to the membership I chose. I emailed the next day that I'd like to cancel. I thought I was in the 3-day cancellation window based on when the joining fee debited my acct. No response to my email.I emailed again a week later. No response to my email.I called a few days later and was told they needed to talk to the manager and would call me back. No call back.I called again and was told again that they needed to talk to the manager and would call me back. This person I also forwarded my emails to - to the email address he gave me. No response to my email and no call back.I emailed again (this is now my 5th attempt to get a response) and finally someone emails me back in a day. They also say they need to see the email and talk to their manager. Finally, after 20 days of me emailing and calling, they did cancel my contract but they won't refund me. I went to the gym one time. Yes, I messed up originally but when I tried to resolve it, it took over 10 calls and emails to reach the final answer. And the final answer is that I canceled on day 5, not on day 3. They count the day you sign up as day 1. So if you think you really have 3 days to cancel, you don't. You only have 2. And if you think you're within your window but are 1 day out of it, they won't make an exception.Terrible service. I was going to join in December at the higher membership level to take the class I want and my husband and his friend were going to join to play basketball and work out but now none of us will since this experience has been so bad. Definitely recommend against a franchised gym. Go local where they're kind and care about people.
