“I got a frame here and they were very helpful with what I needed. It was a buy one get one so that was a nice surprise. The bathroom there is clean as well just in case you need to go. Would return again if I need anything for crafting.”

“I am a longtime Michaels customer because with few exceptions they are the only one-stop craft store around. They are constantly increasing their online inventory but in-store inventory is always a big crapshoot. Be sure to check for coupons before you buy. They can be found online or in the newspaper and are good for saving money whether you're in the store or buying online. The store is usually clean and well maintained but read sale signs closely because they can be confusing or near the wrong merchandise. The staff can be very helpful at the register for applying coupon codes and interpreting them. If you know what you want and don't browse the aisles for eye candy (like this reviewer) you can get great value. As another reviewer pointed out, the return policy can be improved. I'll report back tomorrow with more details because I'm planning on returning a couple of items without receipts (gifts), and doing a little more damage to the budget.”

“I am in the Navy and going overseas. Realized the amount of yarn the pattern is was using was not going to be enough. I did a search and found wild fibers had it. I called and told them my problem. Even though they had already done their shipping for the day they made a special trip to the post office to get me my yarn before i flew out. I had called a few other stores and none were willing to help get me the yarn in time. These ladies clearly understand knitters and the crazy need to have our yarn when we need it. This personal touch was so appreciated. I highly recommend this store. It is a true representation of the local yarn store.”

“I used to not like Hobby Lobby because I didn't see who it was appealing to, but I see over the years they've expanded their crafts and sewing which I like a lot. I remember it only being full of odd decor and random merchandise from fandoms. Granted 50% of the store doesn't appeal to me, but the other 50% makes up for it. Good store for creative folks.”
