I am in my 40s, have a bunch of tattoos on my arms, and am in good health, but for some reason, I am a total baby about getting my blood drawn! Over the years, I have gotten MUCH better about it, but this morning, having to do a fasted blood draw, my emotions got the best of me. Even though I was so grateful to be at Labcorp (where I know the phlebotomists are the best I've ever had), I got a little teary... Ok... I cried (lol) in the chair before my blood draw. Smita (sp?) was so sweet to me! She made me feel very secure, and even made me laugh. It was painless and over before I knew it! I know everyone at Labcorp is very busy and does their very best to get patients through as quickly as possible. She was so patient and kind. I will definitely ask for her next time I go. Thank you so much!

Arrived near opening time and there was no one in line yet so I got in and out quickly. Blood draw was quick and painless.

Absolutely horrible. I haven’t had problems with phlebotomists or healthcare professionals hitting veins since I was a little kid. Today I had 4 different jabs and lots of almost violent “fishing” for veins with the needle in my arm. Actually painful, which again is weird because I get blood work fairly regularly and haven’t had this experience in years.Had to pay $450 for the tests and the staff assured me they had gotten enough blood to do the tests but I’m not sure that’s true. Why come with the intent of getting 3.5 vials and be ok with getting 2 saying “it’ll be enough”. Feels like I just paid to get jabbed 4 times for no reason. Hoping I’m wrong. Horrible experience. Gave two stars because the woman at the front desk was nice.

I'm over this place. Several times, they have lost my standing orders and had to be turned away over the years. My current orders were handed over in May 2023 (expire May 2024) for tests to be taken every three months. When I went on 8/21/23 for a 3-month test, they couldn't find the orders. I called Dr.'s office to have them resubmit to the lab (downstairs from their office). I went back today, 8/25/23, after Dr.'s office confirmed they were resent down to the lab. AGAIN, they couldn't find the orders and got turned away. I even asked if I could show them the standing orders and May 2024 expiration date in MyChart, but they decline. This, to me, doesn't have the patients' well being in mind, as prescriptions cannot be refilled without current test results.

I went in today for a bloodwork and when I got there the lobby was full and people waiting outside but the wait time wasn't very long and when I got called back the lab tech was very nice and informed me of everything she was doing and understood my grumpy needs I was very pleased with my time there today and that's hard to do good job

Beware! I went to the LabCorp in Burien, WA, and was in a private room for a blood draw on 7/13/2023. I took my watch off for the blood draw but forgot to put it back on when I left. Unfortunately, the staff at LapCorp did not turn my watch over to lost & found when I returned to their office & asked about it. Don't leave your personal items behind at this location.

I made an appt for my three hour glucose test and was brought it right away with a waiting room full of people. They had the order from my doctor and the drink there. I had 4 blood draws from different phlebotomists and each were quick, efficient and lovely. Every draw was on time. For a test I didn’t want to do it was a great experience. I did my 1 hour in this Burien location a few weeks ago without an appt and it was the same quick efficient experience.

My first encounter with them was less than desirable. I've a sever allergies to latex and rubber, Nitrile gloves. The tech was upset that I instructed her she couldn't use those type of gloves on me due to sensitivity. So 1st day there I ended up not having blood work done but I had to wait for 4 days for them to order just 1 box of vinyl gloves...so my 2nd encounter was much more pleasant. The tech I encountered remember me from previous week. He showed me kindness and discretion which made it more comfortable to complete the blood draw. So if have an allergy to any gloves say something ahead of time. Save the headache of being spoken of in front of the general public, which is a violation of HIPPA.

Did a walk in. Waited about 5 min they checked me in. 5 min later they called me back and I had a young lady do an amazing blood draw. And she drew 5 tubes from my HAND just as I requested.

You’re going to wait even with an appointment. The front desk staff is disorganized.Parking is super easy. People who do your blood draw are nice enough but the facility never seems very clean (the person who did my stick today picked a bandaid off the floor. No hand wash. No hand sanitizer. Gross) This was my third time here, I’ll go to another location in the future.

The phlebotomists are nice and efficient, but I have had to go back two separate times now for my newborn's screening test. The first time they drew her blood, they submitted it for a different test and for one that wasn't even ordered on her chart. So I had to go back a second time, only for the phlebotomist to collect her blood incorrectly and the WA DOH was unable to process her results. Staff needs training on how to correctly collect for a newborn screening. So frustrating that I can't get results for my newborn that's almost 4mos old.

Do not come here. They will make you come back and back due to negligent communication from staff to patient. The folks drawing the blood are fine and do good work, it’s the systems or lack their of that makes this place terrible.I went in for a full panel for a list of health concerns. They said only test xyz were ordered and that all the rest they didn’t see. I contacted my doctor and they insisted they sent it all over. I wasted so much time going back and forth and finally realized that they have two systems to receive labs from doctors - through the computer and through fax. My xyz tests were sent via computer system, so the lab had no issues with that and sending those results to my doctor. It’s all the rest of the tests that were faxed over - so I went back second time and I asked for them to check their faxes and sure enough the rest of my tests were in their file cabinet while I was there the previous time!So got my entire panels done, and then I realized they never sent those new panels back to my doctor so I called them yesterday saying I have the fax number can you please send them to my doctor. They lady on the phone yelled at me saying it’s the patient’s responsibility to ask after getting labs to send them back to the doctor and that I cannot request that over the phone . She said I have to come in to sign a waiver to release my labs to my doctor via fax. So today is my doctors apt and they don’t have my labs.I’m absolutely enraged that I have to go back a third time just to release my tests to my doctor, when all I was trying to do was to get all my tests done before my annual apt which I was unsuccessful at since they would not fax my results.Do not go here, I will never come back here.

Experienced phlebotomists, very quick and painless blood draw. Fairly short wait for the number of people in line. Straightforward check-in process.

I had a blood draw from LabCorp, Burien yesterday. I did NOT make an appointment and my wait time was about an hour. I don't think that is a huge wait time at all, and the blood draw went excellent. I usually bruise afterwards (a lot), but not this time. Overall, I was very pleased with the check in, the wait time, and the excellent work of the person who did my blood draw.
