I was observing the whole time, and whenever customers asked for napkins, the staff kept implying that people were just wasting them. As a result, the men's bathroom was left with empty napkin dispensers, and none of the workout stations had wipes or napkins available. I asked the woman at the front desk to refill the men's bathroom, and she smiled, saying she’d take care of it. After waiting for two hours while I finished my workout, nothing was done. She pretended to be attentive but never followed through! Terrible gym! If you’re that concerned about napkin usage, maybe consider closing the gym instead of denying members basic necessities like napkins.
Hope you all recover quickly from spreading COVID at the gym—just because you prioritized saving napkins!

A rather well-maintained gym. I like to come to this location for upper-body days because they have a wider range of dumbell weights and a decent number of barbell benches. They only have a couple of squat racks, though, so it can be tough to work leg days here.

LA Fitness is under ongoing litigation regarding their ethical billing practices. To cancel, beware and expect to be made to sit down with a sales rep and given the run around until you insist on cancelation. Furthermore, once you cancel they bar you from using guest passes, the gym is crowded and the service is atrocious.

Just want to share that Nick V. Master Trainer Burien is the best! I learned so much from him and he always had a big smile and friendly demeanor. My biggest cheerleader, he made me want to exceed week after week. Thank you Nick!

I was in the gym today and the operation manager (Hannah) harassed me simply bc I ran to get my water bottle that I forgot even though i’ve been a member for years. Therefor I canceled my membership and she completely removed my account even though when creating a membership you pay for 1 month in advanced. Her reasoning was bc I had a tone surpassing la fitness contract. Either I get a refund or I get my one month back.

A lot of the equipment is always nasty, broken or unusable. I got another membership somewhere else that I use more regularly. I only come here when I’m on a time crunch because it’s closer.

Was going to sign up here but called to ask some questions and the girl who answered just said “hello” so I just said hello back and she asked “are you a member?” Like no.. I thought I wanted to be. I asked a simple question, if sign up online, how do I check in? She said hold on, didn’t put the phone on hold, I heard her asking someone else and heard her say “I don’t want to answer that” and some other guy picked up and could also barely answer my simple questions. These people here obviously hate their jobs and it’s nothing like the LA fitness I went to in my hometown. After reading the other reviews about this location, I think I’m good.

The staff is first class, always attentive to all people who have questions about the use of the exercise machines and the cleanliness is exceptional.

I was assisted by One Edward from the Burien Branch. He lacks the knowledge of customer service . I set up my membership with him and paid for 6 months of membership ending June 2024. When setting up my membership, he told me that my monthly payments will start end of June and I budgeted accordingly. Well, my monthly payment started in April.
When I called him, he put me on hold for 12 minutes, only to tell me that the monthly payment started in April because “that’s the way our system works”. He was not prepared to look at the initial paperwork or admit that he made a mistake in calculating the amount initially.When I asked him to cancel my membership, he said that I need to come personally at the Gym to cancel my membership without giving any explanation. Very poor customer service.
Looks like Edward needs training to justify his position in the Customer Service area.
I signed up for the extended membership because he said by doing so, he will get a better commission. So, it’s all about his commission.
Please check your paperwork carefully when dealing with someone like Edward.

Manager Diamond is far far from precious and has Zero customer service skills came on the phone with an attitude and then implied i was lying about visiting multiple locations with no present manager available to help with my requests. Calls are recorded ive been calling for months complaining about poor conditions and trying to cancel. Who charges someone money and then proceeds to disrespect me as if i owe this clown an explanation about anything process my request with a smile and keep it moving. La Fitness used to be amazing post pandemic its just gone down the drain. I used to deem the membership worth the cost for the cleanliness and Sauna but every location from Broward to Palm Beach is disgraceful. Now i get to experience the way they treat customers in WA your better off anywhere else. Run the other way fees and upcharges for nothing. Never again.
