I was thinking of not sharing this because generally it wasn't a negative experience except for a few things. They lost tons and tons of our children's clothes I would even walk on and see other children wearing them. When i pointed it out nothing was done. My child in toddler one would come home with bruises from her diaper being too tight. She would come home with her privates bleeding from lack of diaper changes. The staff kept promising them I would take them to their bio parents even after bringing this issue up multiple times. Their bio parents hadn't been around in a long time. A lady tried to kidnap my children there. They called and told me about it, but when I asked for an incident report to bring to court they never provided it and said they wouldn't be able to since the teachers that witnessed it didnt work there any more. Why wasnt one made in the first place?. How is it an attempted kidnapping happens and an incident report isn't made? My children would come home with bite marks everywhere and it wasn't till I made a fuss about all the documented cases of human bites being potentially deadly and threatened to call the state that they started making injury reports. The general care there wasn't the worst, but they do not have your children's safety at heart.

We haven't been there is a few years, but really miss it there. This was the best daycare we've had. They keep the kids active and do a lot of activities with the kids. My son loved being there. The teachers were very good with the kids and fed the kids good food. The owners are great people and take pride in their business.I was just talking to my so. About Root to wings. We both miss it. It's too bad that a lot of other places here in kent dosent do the same.

LET ME CLARIFY I DID LET THEM KNOW HE WAS Autistic when I enrolled him. mis Deana says I did not When I did !!!!!!It was a good place. The staff was great. It's just that the director Is singling out my Son. Because he has autism and his race . I did everything they wanted me to get him to stay. I got more money like they wanted to cause I get help from the state. She gave me 2 weeks to find a care for my son and there's nothing open there's a lot of waiting list that hes on. So now that my son was discriminated against because of his disability and race. Now I'm going to be out of work because she wants to get rid of my son because she doesn't like him. And I still don't have day care and they gave me 2 WEEK! What Kind of day care facility asked for more funding. And then just kicks a special needs get out.

I Love From Roots To Wings! I have been using there child care services for over a decade. They have been my 1st choice for caring for my children. They provide for all children from ages 1 to 12. They even provide transportation for kids to an from, to a selection of schools and outings. The teachers are absolutely great in all aspects from teaching dual language Spanish/English and that is great to get them ready for elementary schools in the area. The food provided is homemade and nutritious food. It's a family owned business and have been for over 20 year's.It is absolutely the only daycare I would put or even trust to put my children HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

My son used to go when he was a year and a ...This was the worst experience ever at this daycare I used to bring them more than enough dippers. rash cream .extra clothes. It was too much I even reported them to dshs they didn't do anything. It was different situations I dropped my son and pick him.up with big rash one day he was even bleeding . They mixted the dirty with the clean clothes . Like very day he felt down and hit his head. the staff no all of them but most of then they rude one day they told me that my 1 year and a half son was too much I should hit him to discipline him . I'm so glad I found different daycare .

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE pls read my below experience!!I walked into the "office" area and there was absolutly no one there . i began to say "hello ...???" and there was no reply it was very eerie. I then seen the office door half way open I proceeded to say "hello...? " and still no reply then Michelle I believe thats her name popped out of a pitch black office room and was beyond rude and unprofessional she basically pushed me out the door . it raised concerns why she was in a pitch black office room at a daycare by herself!?!??! it concerned me to want to call the police for a walk through. You just NEVER know and having no one available in the front entrance at a Day care for children is a red flag and 2. When the "director " is popping out suspiciously of her pitch black office is a huge red flag . especially when i asked her directly what she was doing in there in the dark she began to get irate. anyhow. sometimes we hv to do the little extra sacrifice for our childrens safety and our peace of mind !

Called to ask questions and they were the rudiest people ever. If you can not talk to someone on the phone right you should not interact with anyone's children.
