Our first time visiting and was able to experience the Peppermint and Ponies events! The staff is amazing super understanding and works very well with children of all ages. My son is 3 years old so he’s learning all things including patience and sharing! The staff was very compassionate with his meltdowns (he had 2 he wanted Santa’s time)! They showed him basic interaction with the horses and goats! They had a perfect set up for crafts and made the mood great with music and Santa willing to interact with the kids! Highly recommend! Definitely visiting the ranch again for other events!

I had an amazing time at Silver Buckle. The horses are well cared for and managed and they get turn out all day except in bad weather. This is a safe place for children through adults. My instructor, Jess, was really nice and helped me build up my confidence in my riding. They choose horses based on relationship and skill level and it gives the rider a chance to create a bond and a place to improve. Contacting them is super easy and responses are usually quick. I think they are relatively affordable when compared to other barns that teach lessons. They make efforts to preserve the safety of the people and the horses. They don’t only teach riding; they also teach important things about the horse’s health and body, barn chores, ground work, and the mechanics of riding. People are welcoming and friendly. They have made efforts to stay safe during COVID-19, including closing up temporarily for quarantine precautions/mandates, requiring masks, keeping hand sanitizer in several locations, keeping around 2 people at max in a lesson, and social distancing consistently. I learned independence, seat, and confidence while I was there and it is helping me on my riding path.

We had a birthday party for our two daughters at Silver Buckle Ranch and we had such a good time. The staff is fantastic, the classroom space was perfect for the celebration part, and the horses were beautiful and gentle. All the girls who came were full of smiles. Everyone loved riding the big horses, as well as brushing and accessorizing the mane of Button the pony. If you're looking for a ranch for a pony party. definitely check them out.
