Also delivery left in a puddle outside our garage when we have a locking mailbox at the curb. I complained to the postmaster. He was initially defensive but has since provided personalized service. Maybe it's the complaining. It also seems like he's making an effort. The actual post office building is much cleaner and nicer, although they could work a bit harder on permanently getting rid of that nasty pothole. In the past, I would have offered a 1 start, but I'm now offering a 5 star because of the seeming sincere effort at improvement.”

“I give 4 stars for cleanliness and the the female staff person. I recently moved to Brinnon and this is a one man office. I hate having to get parcels from behind the counter if the LARGE man is working. Sad, but I have only had a few dealings with the person running the counter. The female is very pleasant to work with and makes you feel welcome I am horrible at remembering names. The male however, both times I have had to deal with him, is very abrasive. He seems to hate his job. If that is the case, retire already! But dont make people feel inferior just because you can. I dont want to take it personal because I believe it is his nature. I mean, I am just checking on renting a PO Box- he made me feel like a terriorist. I left that day without a new Box. Went back a few days later and the woman was behind the counter. No problem. She helped me and I DID get a new PO Box. I had a large bulky (not so heavy) parcel delivered. The female was very acomidating and even helped me load it in my car. On this latest delivery, the male worker made me feel like an idiot for not bringing help. I didnt know how large this box was going to be. Excuuuuuuse me. He did not lift a finger to help nor make an offer. He just put the parcel on a hand truck that was made by Fred Flinstone and off I went down the ramp to my car. I am 67 years old and, well, need I say more? But a very nice man coming to check mail offered to help me load the parcel and I was soooo grateful. I cant wait for that j*** clerk to retire!!”
