I spoke with the service manager, Rick, on the phone. He gave me extremely helpful advice with regard to my dad's 1991 Ford E-250 with severe transmission issues.
Thanks to Rick I will not be wasting $500 on a "rebuilt" transmission off Craigslist because it is impossible to rebuild a transmission for $500. The solenoid pack alone is $500 just for a shop to buy at their cost.
Thank you, Rick, for saving me at least $500 and a whole lot of wasted time and effort with your valuable free phone consult.

I was talking to a friend about rebuilding the rear end on my 2000 Ford mustang GT nothing special just OEM... He suggested I try transmissions Northwest and Bremerton. Stopped in today people are super friendly but when they came to pricing out the rear end I was quoted a price between 2 -$3,000.... I asked him I'm not asking for anything special Just OEM parts and he said yes I thought that was a bit on the expensive side. !!!!!!

I don't do reviews often, but I am just surprised at the customer service. I called while they were closed due to weather and was surprised to receive a call back and was told Rick would call me Tuesday. Very impressed at this point! No call (no big deal) so I called in. I called to get some information about some transmission work, very disappointed to receive practically no help. I was told I already knew everything and there was nothing they could tell me without my vehicle. Yet every other shop I have called has taken the time to talk to me about the situation, give me a general idea of cost (with the understanding it's only a general idea and could increase or decrease depending), some even gave me exact amounts for same work done on same vehicle, provided their warranty information, talked to me about payments and what they require, and overall just took the time to discuss. Now I am not sure if this shop sees me as a waste of time as I am a female (one with a mechanic family background) or what but I received no courtesy and they couldn't get off the phone fast enough. It's disappointing as this shop came recommended as I am not from WA state originally, so I rely on referrals and overall impression I receive in conversation. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my business elsewhere maybe they don't need my money or maybe they think I am an idiot because I am a female. Oh well! I would just say to be cautious with this shop, customer service isn't impressionable.
