When you tell an ALUMNI that they can keep their email account forever, then do not change your mind and take it away after 10 years. Been using my email address since 2009. Got locked out of my account today by school administrators. I was told in 2015 that I could have permanent access to my email account since I received a degree. Now, after many years, Olympic College tells me over the phone that I have only 1 (ONE) week to empty out my account and delete all bills and messages. Then, the school administrator lied on the phone and said everyone got an email this month to change emails. I feel sorry for those who have a job and kids. How are families suppose to spend all day on the phone contacting people about changing emails? After all these years, I have to contact banks, employers, friends, family, stores, AAA, department stores, credit card agencies, IRS, and travel agencies. That is a waste of my time and I am sure I will forget to call someone. Ten years is a long time to catch up on in a week. Someone important will get left out; and I will be paying a fine for being late with a bill. MORE destruction and damage to my Credit score. My bills are done online. I reach my landlord with this account. I contact my bank for fraud with this email. All of this has to be recycled now. I have one week to change everything. I can Not get in my email today because Olympic College locked me out of my account. So, that means I only have (six) 6 days to change everything.

Very unhelpful with anything administrative, financial or disability wise. i was basically left on read long enough for them to charge me for classes instead of using fafsa and the financial director stopped responding to any email replies we sent. Only to respond again months later when i re emailed them a few times and mentioned not having my disability needs met. Negative stars if i could

The staff at the bookstore is amazing! They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My kid and I just love going to the bookstore.

Nursing program: Unsupportive of students, especially during the challenges of Covid. Administration is not in sync with instructors to the detriment of the students. Really can't get their act together on many levels. Ranging from spelling "nursing" wrong in the acceptance letter (first clue), to violating their own learning contract, to zero policy and procedure.

My daughter is Autistic & starting college here. She has felt very supported by staff and feels comfortable asking questions.

Was here the first day of summer quarter and was seen immediately, and the people working there were all kind and knowledgeable about where to get my supplies (not the easiest thing to pull of since I was talking weird due to dental work).

Bait and Switch! As many other reviewers here have stated, B&N college is a truly predatory/evil organization. Never try to buy new books online here, as the order gets switched to used. This appears to be the standard no-stock program, and it will really rip you off, especially if you intended to keep the book. There is no legally binding contract stating that they can change the terms of the purchase without your consent. They unfortunately do not stock more durable formats (hardback), so used is typically in terrible condition.I acknowledge that the employees are not defined by the ethical standards of their employer, and assume that they play no willing part in this bait-and-switch, as it would be simpler

Anyone who buys books from here beware. Try to buy from amazon or online. Books are overpriced.

Nice friendly helpful staffbut no longer like the bookstore since barnes and noble took over. They have also taken over at my new school as well and I do not like how they just switch your books to used when you order new ones. I get some people buy used books but they order them used. I ordered new and at this bookstore and the new one they just give me used ones and expected me to be okay with it not giving a choice. If you are ordering new then that's what you should get. It's literally forcing a customer to pay for something they don't want taking advantage of them. I'm not a fan of any predatory business practices and that's what it is same with their buy back it's terrible I got 4xback just by doing it myself and printing out shipping labels and sending them to online buyback places.Response to Maggie:Thank you Maggie it's nothing personal with staff you have always done the best with options available. It's the way the organization takes advantage of students

It is cool to have a community collage in town. I believe the main goal of this place is too rake in as much cash as possible and network their programs into any institution that will buy in. It would be cool if they started there own radio station, I would have to give them 5 stars if they did that. I also have a degree from this place, I have no idea what that degree is.
