A lot of new faces behind the counter and even some new equipment it looks like they just got some new computers and are in the process of learning the ins and outs of a new system. Overall the wait time is already noticeably much shorter, and if you use the "get in line" text service a couple hours before showing up the wait time is almost not a thing at all. The script center has also been upgraded and is now larger and faster too. Now being filled twice a day instead of once. They now load the script center at 1pm and at the end of the day 6pm. So if you get your order in soon enough you can have your meds in the same day from the vending machine down stairs with out any wait at all. Over all loving the improvements keep up the Great work!

Picking medication up in the vending machine (Scrip Center) in the hospital garage is AMAZING! I’m 60 and my husband is 80 and we had to read the directions several times but we succeeded and now it is amazingly convenient and the speed and convenience can’t be beat! Whichever one of us is in the area picks up all our prescriptions and we don’t need a Xerox of the other person’s ID like you used to.

Due to "overwhelming" workload at NHB drive-thru pharmacy, only "refills" can be processed / transferred to the drive-thru pharmacy. How is it that a renewal of an existing prescription (15 yrs) to obtain continuing refills of the same med is not a "refill" and therefore may only be picked up at the pharmacy lobby or the 'script vault?

Dynamic Customer Service provided by a Professional Naval Hospital Pharmacy Representative working today, at the drive through, @1400, 28 July 2023. Like a clutz I forgot to get her name but I’ve seen her many times throughout the years at the Naval Hospital. She provides outstanding, by the book, support to our Veterans and she helped me out big time. Without going into all the poopoo details, I’ll just say this wonderful human being, representing the Pharmacy, made my 45 year wedding anniversary so much more pleasant. Thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I am so very grateful. Life is so much nicer with people like you.

I used tlhe wait in line feature for the first time on Monday. I was called back and confirmed I had several new scripts that had been provided by my doctor. The staff put those scripts in for me to pick up at the drive through pharmacy. She also helped me look over several eye meds and will add those and include the script as written as there is a disconnect between what I understood and what was put in by the doctor. Great service thank you Jeff

The hold to talk to someone on the phone here is absolutely ridiculous!!! They called me, it went straight to voicemail (I had my phone in my hand so I know it didn't ring), I called back within 30 seconds and have been on hold for 49 minutes and counting.

This facility should either be completely closed down or revamped into what it was meant to be. At one time this was a full service hospital, now it's a running joke. Retirees are only seen in family practice for consultation and referral to outside services. Minor issues might be relieved here but anything that requires research you will be sent out to an over booked and resource strained, "Civilian Doctor", which you may not be able to see for months. Sadly we're still paying for this. After paying for it in "years served" and money ? spent.There are so many things I could say.... But I'm not going to write ? a book ?. Doesn't even deserve the one ? star.

Do not go to this hospital if it's a possibility. So I walked up to the guy up front at the eye surgery desk and simply asked where I would have to go for my oral surgery and he was extremely rude about it and for no reason I almost said something about it but then let it go. Please don't go here

I have used the get-in-line call in service. It works easily for refills and new Rx for pick up at the Refill station. No need to enter pharmacy. Even when I used pharmacy 8 weeks ago my total wait, in to out, was less than 30 minutes. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Thank you

My Wife called into the pharmacy this morning and gave the Pharmacist a list of medications that she needed refilled. The Pharmacist stated that my Wife could pick them up today before closing. My Wife and I drove an hour to the pharmacy to pick up the refills and we were told that they weren't put in by the Pharmacist. So now we have to wait an additional hour on top of the hour we already waited. This is the worse customer service my wife and I have ever experienced at a pharmacy.

The OB/GYN workers are so judgmental. I felt very uncomfortable during the times I went. Every time I have to go to Naval Hospital I get PTSD

Went to the NavHosp pharmacy. They normally close at 730 pm. Website still indicates 730 pm. Get here at 640pm....closed!! UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE!! I still love my NavHosp though!

I was referred to their system and told NOT to come into the pharmacy but call a provided number. It's ALWAYS BUSY! Their system isn't broken, it's an utter disaster of a failure.

Was told I could pick up my medicine on a Thursday. Weather made it close on that day, so went to get it Friday, but they closed without any notice on anything. Had to wait till Monday but again! They closed early without notice and only found out after you already went there and posted to the closed Botha was a signs. Only able to get it because it’s medicine I cannot go without.No one ever picks up the phone, I have tried calling multiple times. Don’t stick to their open hours.

No call regarding date change for surgery… arrive the day of surgery and informed there has been a change… Then told to come back and schedule again at 0730….Very unorganized, no regard for others time and poor communication all around. Do better.
