I would give this back zero stars if I could. I’ve been with them for about 2 1/2 months and today was the most awful experience. I was told when I signed up with my account after I’ve had it for 30 days Mobile deposits would be available no later than the next day. Going with my instincts. I called the bank to clarify. They said that is not correct and that if you don’t have the amount of money in your account that the check calls for you’re trying to deposit there would be a hold on it. So I went to the bank, the check was written from and cashed it. I then proceeded to Kitsap Bank on Wheaton Way to the drive of ATM to deposit $1700 in the middle of the deposit. The entire machine shuts down with a malfunction. As I am sitting there I call into the branch to let them know what is going on and how much money I was trying to deposit. They said they would file a claim, but there was no guarantees if my funds would be returned to me as they have no record in the system of me putting my ATM card in the machine or that I entered my pin number, which I did. They said they have to wait for Loomis to come out and balance the machine, but they cannot tell me when that will be for the safety of the Loomis employees, but can take up to 10 days, and still no guarantee that my funds would be returned to me. They then proceeded to tell me the only way I can get a provisional credit in my account until they figure it out is if I tapped the screen and talked with a live agent. I was given their bosses, phone number and corporate, and all it did was reroute me to the same person I was talking to. When I let them know that all it did was reroute the call to her. She proceeded to go around what I said and said I had to wait for a callback. Crystal at the Wheaton Way location had nothing but attitude. So I guess I sit and wait. This money was supposed to go to my children’s Christmas especially for all of the Christmas sales going on right now. My daughter was screaming in the background and I told her she needed formula and was unable to get it now. She got upset with the crying and hung up. My advice to you if you go to the bank and go to the ATM drive up talk to a live agent don’t just put your card in the ATM or go in the branch to deposit your money. I will be switching banks as soon as I get this resolved. EDIT: there was a young lady that called me back and was very apologetic. She reviewed the film and did confirm that the ATM ate the money. She had it resolved by the next morning and made sure to give me a personal phone call to let me know. Even though it started off as a really bad experience, they did make it right.

Terrible service. Ball of confusion. Nobody seems to be a know what to do nor the correct process for a simple transaction. The assistant manager keeps telling me to "just be patient". This is my second trip into the bank for the same thing. They can't tell me how long it will be before my paperwork is ready.

I have always banked with a credit union, but I switched my business account to Kitsap Bank because it is local and has been around for over 100 years. I have never been charged so many fees and had my accounts mismanaged in such a short period of time. When I opened my accounts (personal and business) in May of 2020, they only provided me with a checking account, not a savings account. Weird, right? I had to go inside the bank after many confusing phone calls and finally I was given a savings account. I suppose it is common to open a bank account and only want a checking account? No way, that is weird, everyone wants both checking and savings. It is absurd that I had to REQUEST for a savings account. Absurd. My biggest gripe is the plethora of problems with their online banking/phone app. I wasted a lot of time on the phone and in person regarding this. Pop-up messages said I did not have authorization to deposit checks. HOW NUTS!!! I'm the only one on the account, what do you mean I can't deposit a check in my own account?! I was unable to use the online deposit because I was never given a debit card (which was absolutely essential for using Kitsap Bank's phone app, as they have a second party app you must also download and then enter your debit card number in order to use their services). Impossible to do that without a card, which should have been given to me right after opening my accounts. While on the phone, multiple separate times, I was speaking to the bank's web master/developer of the app. I know this because while on the phone, they were re-writing the code so that when I closed the app and then re-opened it on my phone, options that didn't exist magically appeared. Because of their poor service, I closed my accounts a month ago and only NOW am I finding out that I was charged a $25 closing teller fee. NO ONE EVER told me about that fee. I want my $25 back, I found out about this fee after I was sent a paper statement (which earlier I had to OPT OUT OF in order to not be charged $5 EVERY MONTH, and the only way to opt out is through their useless app). I received no receipt the day I closed my account that said ANYTHING about this fee. Let's be honest, wow, burned while opening my account, burned closing my account. I took my business and money to Kitsap Credit Union and I'm never looking back. I will write a review on any and every website to warn people of this bank that certainly doesn't care about you, only your money. Kitsap Credit Union was so helpful and it was easy to open my new account with them. They even printed my new debit card that day!! And their online/phone app is excellent and easy to use. Stay away from this bank- so many fees, lack of communication, poor service, and let me tell you, when I closed my account at the Kingston branch, the teller asked me why and I said the online services were beyond sub-par. She agreed then she went on to tell me THAT SHE has an account with Kitsap Credit Union. So there you have it folks, even the employees don't want to bank where they work. That speaks volumes. Goodbye Kitsap Bank, know that I will share my experiences with everyone and anyone that will listen.

Customer service and customer convenience is a not a priority apparently. Already have checking account with them. Just wanted to conveniently open a savings account online so I wouldn't have to take off work to do so as my hours are the same as banks. They do not offer this service. Nor do they have weekend hours. Guess its time to change to a bank that has services for this generation, not one that wants to operate like they did 20 years ago.

This place violates everything the American with disability's act stands for. I was asked to resign due to having a very serious mental illness that I was hired with full knowledge of having. I am diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and very sever PTSD. I am so sad to see that most of the women here are to good to look into the eyes of one who suffers with compassion. instead choosing to look down their noses in judgment at people with mental illness . I have never seen anything so sad in my life. I will take every opportunity I have to let people know this place swept me and my disability under the rug. If I would have just pushed that resignation they filled out on my behalf back across the table and told them to fire me. What a law suit I would have. I really could have pushed this but I believe in karma. I will continue to share this with all I can. Mental illness already has a stigma we don't need more people like this in the world. What we need is more compassion and less judgement. We are all equal in our creators eyes. Too bad it's not the same here.

Such friendly service and very warmly decorated. It's great to have a good local bank in such a great and accessible location.
