Their prices are the same as local grocery stores, as I live quite a ways from the Commissary it isn't worth the trip as I am not saving any money like it was years ago.And you have to pay a surcharge, that's the same as paying tax in local stores. Also the local stores have sales on a lot of items and are much cheaper than the commissary.

I had not been for a few years. It still amazes me the great prices vs civilian grocery stores. Simply cannot beat the prices of meats, vegetables, and pantry staples. Even going on a payday which is considered a bad day because of crowding and reduced stock, it was amazing. Super hanicap friendly. Plenty of staff. No long lines. Use your commissary benefits people....they cannot be beat.

Very clean, well-stocked, small commissary. Staff always pleasant, helpful, and quick to provide service. Beautiful produce and excellent quality and selection of meats.
